I restore furniture and for me it would be so difficult to do how to videos. Doing restoration is tedious enough without having to video tape it and explain step by step the process. On top of that people love to nitpick and complain that what someone is doing is the wrong way. Kudos to you Trena and nice work as always.

I used to scotchtape the broken off piece at the corner, thinking once the rest of the broken cracks were repaired, but I did not have the necessary clamps or vices. Clumsy movers didn't listen to my move instructions, mistepped at odd maneuver & hit a door jam near stairwell. You are fixing it just the way I wanted to, right down to using wood putty to shape it.

I was introduced to wood working in shop classes in 1957. I don't build for profit, mostly for my own use. I've built cabinets, desks, beds, dresser, etc. At 78 years of age I'm still learning and watching your channel has been both inspiring and enlightening. You truly are a master craftsman. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I wasn't happy about the movers' damage, but it could not be undone. At that time, I could not fix it myself due to a lack of time & financial resources as a single momwith no clamps or proper vices. I did not have the necessary clamps or vices. Trena did it as I had intended. When I had this & many other pieces she fixed & expertly restored, it brought back many nostalgic memories of days gone by. It is too bad that we cannot hit rewind to other times in our lives & taken a better path, but alas, we have to live with the mistaken choices & their consequences. I used to own these & many other pieces Trena has worked on sooo diligently. From time to time, I wondered what happened to them. Thank God🙏 , they did not go to a dump, were spared to get "a new life" with someone who will enjoy having them.

Having done some refinishing and repair work on my and friends furniture, I am in awe of your skills. Astonishing work. Many, Many years ago the furniture store I worked at had an onsite repairman who was a master at the craft. Some of the things I saw him do were mind blowing. You are at least that good, and probably better. It's an absolute pleasure watching your videos. I've learned a lot from you, and maybe even be able to use some of that knowledge in the future. Not at your level, but better than I've done in the past. Thank you for sharing your obvious mastery of this craft.

Another magical repair! No one would ever know that it was damaged. I can see how hard it is for you to keep track of time spent. I would bet that you get so into something, quite a bit of time can easily fly by. I was stripping a cedar chest (that was painted white and pink ) and spent 1 whole day getting into cracks with dental tools. Of course, I do it for family and friends as a hobby, but it is obvious that your expert eyes see things that the average person would not necessarily see, but be awed by your end results. You are truly an old world craftsman and artist. You do your father proud!

looked really good, nice job as always. BTW, one of the things I find is that if I don't have enough pieces to work on I get stuck without something to do while finish or glue or something else drys and becomes ready for the next step. Trena, the repair is invisible! Amazing!!! I don't know if you were going for a world record for number of clamps per square inch on that nightstand... you know, the Guinness World Book of Records... kind of like how many people can fit in a phonebooth or Volkswagen LOL... Enjoyed the shorter video that focused on a common issue.
