So glad you made it to Kinzers for the show. (I messaged you about it on Etsy). I spent the day on Thursday and have been going there for 30 years now. The in and out movement on the shovel is called "crowd" and forces the teeth of the bucket into the cut as well as allowing more precise placement when dumping.

I operated a Euclid R22 at the VC Summer nuclear plant that was under construction in 1976. It was the best job I ever had. We were paid over $8 an hour and worked 63 hours a week (5x 11 and 1x 8). Overtime kicked in at 2:00 on Thursday afternoon!
