Your flat is really cute and a great first flat. However, for a man of your height, your next place might feel bigger with higher ceilings regardless if there isn't much extra square footage. Those 7' ceilings make me feel claustrophobic and you're a good 7' or 8" taller than I. Eight foot ceilings are fairly standard in the USA, but 9' or 10' might be more available in the UK. So much of your architecture is AMAZING with so much character and might be easier to find. Now if it would be in anyone's price range is another matter all together. I can't wait for your big move!

I'm the same with Jo Malone, hate throwing away the beautiful bottles! Top tip is when you finish one take the lid off and put the bottle in your sock/underwear drawer. Makes them smell amazing and means you can hold on to the bottles a little longer ;)

Hey Mark, try a Mister Clean Magic Eraser on your smoke damaged wall (if you have them in the UK) they work so well on a lot of things! Use a light hand and test a spot. Hope this helps, matching the paint won’t be easy 😁

Easy way to get the soot/candle smoke off the wall. Try a magic easer or clean it with sugar soap. You can get both from the supermarket and are lifesavers on walls when renting! X

In the states we have a Mr Clean eraser that is a white sponge that will move just about anything from walls. If you have something similar to that in the UK I highly recommend giving that a try on the black spot in your bathroom 🛁
