One thing I don't like about hyper-v, the entire UI gets blocked when you do another move simultaneously or some other functions. I like it when it becomes a background task.

Perhaps this is available if you migrate using powershell? I havent done it myself but sounds like something powershell could handle.

Haven't you try to use only 1 shared iSCSI LUN for hyper-v disks of 2 hyper-v hosts and separated LUN's only vor VM configurations? Then migration is much faster, as disks stays untouched. Is it safe scenario?

I have, however it is not recommended to have more that one Server connected to an ISCSI share at one time without some software that can control the reads/writes i.e HA or failover software "this is my understanding and I could be wrong" one of the issues I have on my list to resolve, so if anyone has more information on this please let me know :) Thanks for watching :)
