Just a mention, even though construction is new, you should always clean and mop any way especially before you start getting furniture. Cleaning and wiping things down with disinfectant and whatnot is not going to fail you.

Congrats on the new place Jack. It looks great. Glad you really like it too. You will definitely get your steps in with this apartment 🙂. Side note, make sure you think through what you put in the space connected to the garage. Garage spaces are open to the street and are easy to access if someone wanted to break in-especially if your alarm system doesn’t cover it as well. I would suggest having your computer equipment, etc. inside the actual apartment instead. That said, if your place doesn’t come with an alarm system, think about getting one. Finally, I would also recommend getting renter’s insurance as well. It shouldn’t be much per moth. Anyway, just thought I would pass on the suggestions/recommendations to you. Hope you find it helpful. Enjoy getting setup and personalizing your new place.
