PRO DECORATION TIP HERE! Since the footboard in your kitchen is recessed you can easily put in (low/no profile) smart strip lights. Do this and put it on a timer to turn on 30 minutes after the sunset to a warm light at 50%. I'm telling you it's going to be the BEST lighting. You will stop using your overhead lights.

Celebrating with you today. We bought a house a few months ago and pulled up all the carpet. It turns out the carpets is some rooms were glued to the original red oak floors. We originally planned to live at our rental until the lease ended but it took so much time getting all the glue off that we had to move into our semi-finished basement with our 2 cats. After months of being just a girl with a chisel and a dream, our floors are refinished and ready to move in today.

Morgan, I've been a silent follower for a few years and have been watching your journey with everything that has been with this house and all the moving. You are so much stronger than you give yourself credit for, most wouldve broke under all the craziness that's been involved with remodeling. From everything I have seen so far it was worth it, you're in your home with all your things and your family close by, it's a completely fresh start at this thing we call life. My girl didnt get the chance but, she honored my Mother by dedicating her bar to her and special things all over her house that were Mom's and you can feel her all over the house!
