Tip: You can either spray paint or get a product called Rub 'n Buff to change the gold color on your bathroom Lazy Suzan if you find the color doesn’t go with your aesthetic.

You can always spray paint the bathroom organizer pieces to black or what ever color you want! I bought my home last year and spray paint was a big player in getting the aesthetic right for pieces I already had!

To be completely honest- I didnt prime anything and I spray pained the base of a coffee table (with a metal base) my kitchen aid mixer (bright red glossy finish originally) and other smaller items that dont get as much traffic. They all look as good a year later as the day I did them. think those pieces would be totally fine with just spray paint!

You have such a beautiful house. Take lots of time decorating it. If you are still looking for a mop the one from the dollar tree works very well. It's very similar to the Swiffer. It's small and goes under all the books and crannies.

I have been watching your Moving Vlogs into your new home. I love your layout and plan that you decided for each room. How did you decide on the Bosch Fridge? I agree that Samsung and LG aren't as dependable to use if one is buying appliances

I just watched reviews on TikTok and read reviews online! There’s way less issues with Bosch and it’s also less known/common, so I did take a chance in a way! But I also had a close friend who had a Bosch in their apartment for the past year and loved it, so yeah here we are haha and I LOVE it so much so far! It’s so quiet!! And always has a ton of ice available, I love the water dispenser inside the fridge, the snack drawer! Plus there was a good sale on it too, so that helped.

Apparently it’s a very Canadian thing to always take your shoes off. Like it’s weird if you don’t or at least offer. I know a lot of people who will keep a basket of slippers to offer guests. But for deliveries and technicians they can’t always take them off due to insurance (in case they get hurt) so you might want to keep some booty covers on hand.

Yes I have some booties for guests! Some red washable ones but usually technicians come with their own disposable ones that they use 🤪
