Scott you did Brilliantly.... driving something that size for the first time is ....scary..... Halloween scary...... but you wait in a couple of months you will be relaxed and throwing it round like you have been driving it for years.... it looks marvelous... You will soon get to grips with everything and as you say R.T.F.M. we have had Genny 2 years and we are still learning new things with fuses hidden behind cupboards...concealed lights in cabinets we never knew about. Hi guys Thank you so much for saying so, it was very scary for a first drive having to navigate some small roads 😬 I think the hardest part was definitely driving a left hand drive, especially as I’ve never driven one before and then driving some this big on small UK roads haha 😂 I am getting used to it now though, that’s the good thing about being full time and constantly moving around and not just twice a year. I modified it a bit... if the buses and dustbin lorries can get through..... you can too. Have a little confidence... not too much....! Hi Chris and Jen Thank you so much, it means a lot to us, we are still very new to all this video making lark and it shows lol. You need to have HGV as it’s over 7,5T and towing as well means we need the C+E category license. Hope this helps. Happy travels. 😊

That Undley road from the Trailer place to Beck Row is a nightmare at the best of times, with overhanging roofs, jutting walls and massive pot holes at the side, rather than go that way I sometimes go via Lakenheath back to civilisation, high six🤣.

Yes it can be a bit of nightmare, we’d not used that route on a Saturday before so caught a bit off guard, every other time we’ve used it, it hasn’t been too bad 😊 lessons learned and all that. 😊👍

That creaking noise would do me head in! I had a 34 foot American motorhome that creaked and rattled too! I hated it and got rid of it and got a beautifully made Euroyacht. The American vans are badly made in my opinion. Good luck anyway 👍

10 miles per gallon? Nice RV I like the Monaco Vista very retro shape but it's a front engine ( Petrol ) safe travels.

Probably about that, 10-12 maybe more not worked it out fully yet but generally only drive at 55mph on motorway. Hardly any difference in mpg to the Ranger towing the fifth wheel, we worked that much out on our trip back to Devon and compared costs between the 2. 👍 We opted for a diesel pusher for the quieter ride plus better torque especially when towing a car up over mountains etc. 😊

@Stevebyford1 Hi Steve Honestly don’t read anything bad into it, it’s just a personal preference, we absolutely loved the fifth wheel, and would recommend one to anyone. With us being full time and travelling a lot we felt we needed more space internally, but also we needed more space for cargo and water/waste, we are planning g to do more off grid living and using park ups etc so a Moho made sense. Please don’t think we hated it or anything because we absolutely loved our time with the fifth wheel.

Look on the bright side, once you have got all the niggling things done then you will be fine, its going to take time and no doubt theres going to be more to come, but its not much difference than living in a house, still needs to be repaired and maintained, but at the end of the day its yours, all paid for and no mortgage around your neck for 25 years, no council tax to pay, cheap road tax if yours is the same as ours, and a lovely life, just repair things as they come along and try not to stress to much. Hi Phil and Elley You are 100% spot on there, I couldn’t agree more, I didn’t expect to jump into an 18 yr old vehicle and it run perfectly smooth with no niggles, I did prepare myself for it to be fair. When all said and done I know we have made the right choice for us, we are enjoying it a lot and sure we will have many adventures in the old girl, just got to keep on top of those jobs. Speaking of which, I need to get back and investigate the latest little problem (a leaky washing machine pipe somewhere, not the washer pipe though).

Hi guys Yes we have bought a car, need to get the A frame fitted this week up at Armitages so we are heading north again tomorrow & Tuesday, decided to take it easy and do it over 2 days so we could stop off Stratford racecourse (our second home) 😊

Ohhh yeah, sadly we couldn’t keep him, Di has always been allergic to pets but always still had dogs and managed it, but I think being in a small space made it 10 times worse and she was feeling really poorly because of it so little Teddy had to find a new home. 😥😥

About 12mpg, not much difference to towing the fifth wheel to be honest. But the car is double what the truck used to do, so tootling around is much better. It is pretty even, if not a bit better with this set up.

You do know from April last year its a Traffic Offence to point a Device st the Driver , its a Fine and Points ,inc the Passenger if also a Driver, if not a Driver then just the Fine Youd think who you bought it from would have topped the Gas n Fuel up prior to Collection Its a Noisey Rattley Drive isnt it Isnt it a level floor for the Passenger, have to put one legs Dangling the the Step Well?

I’ve never heard of a device being pointed at driver being an offence, I assume you’re talking about the camera.? Considering a lot of modern cars now are being fitted from factory with such devices, also all emergency services vehicles have cameras pointing into the vehicle, as well as taxi drivers, then you have many people getting dash cams fitted also pointing at the occupants including the driver? Sounds a bit strange to me. Edit: I have just checked and there is no law that prohibits recording a driver as long as they consent and the footage is used for its intended purpose. So that’s us covered then I guess 🤷‍♂️ It’s not that noisy at all to be honest, I think the camera seemed to pick it up more, not a problem while driving along. As Di explained in the video, the step cover that usually comes out to create a flat floor isn’t working at the moment, this is a job for another time, so in response to your comment, it’s not meant to be like that 😂 Hope this clears up some of your queries. 😊 Scott & Di

Hi Jim I figured out the jenny, it was because the fuel was 1/4 tank and it won’t come on to save fuel for the engine, started perfect once we had a full tank of go go juice. Hopefully see you guys soon again ❤️
