NY native here! It makes me so happy when I see people moving to the city, any of the other boroughs or even to Long Island (where I’m from.) Since it’s the Fall season, I highly recommend going upstate to see the fall foliage especially in the Catskills and Adirondack Mountains. You should also come to Long Island to do some pumpkin and apple picking at two of our most popular family farms: “Harbes Family Farm” there’s one out in Mattituck, and one in Riverhead (both in Suffolk County which is the east end of Long Island going towards the sound) as well as Waterdrinker Farm in Manorville also in Suffolk County and in Riverhead. For Waterdrinker, I believe it’s $20 person in Manorville but $15 per person in Riverhead, Mondays-Fridays 10-6, weekends 9-6, the pumpkin are is free to go in but it costs a bit more to actually purchase the pumpkins. For Harbes, they’re open for apple picking only Mondays and Fridays 10-5 and weekends/holidays 9-6, credit cards only, admission is required but no reservations.

That Target is unfortunately closing due to crime and theft. All other Targets in the city are "express" stores with minimal stock--and everything under lock and key.

love this! i got almost everything in my apt from fb marketplace and it was all very well priced if u guys are still looking for furniture, etc. would highly recommend. and hardware stores have a lot of basics and can be cheap depending on the neighborhood.

My NY favourite show are going to be your videos! I love your vibe in New York, the apartment is small but beautiful. I lived in London in a smaller apartment and I remember the feeling of finally having your home but in another city, even is not the greatest house you have lived in. I lived in NYC for almost 10 years and will likely move back. So happy you both are happy! NYC has a special place in my heart. Be careful when it floods that’s my big advice. If you don’t need to leave the house when it’s flooding, don’t. Especially if you’re downtown the rain can get treacherous. we only have 1 ac unit and it cools our whole apartment here in nyc (prob about like 25% larger than y’all’s because we have that astoria pricing on our side) but i feel like that unit would easily cook your whole place if you keep the doors open and close the windows! happy move in!!!

in the Ikea in Berlin, there are still sauce dispensers and self-service pickles, onions etc. You can order your hot dog on a screen, and the veggie is 1€, the vegan and meat 1,50€ It is a must on every visit!
