My son moved to NYC after graduating college six years ago. It's hard to believe it's been six years already! I remember taking him to Macy's Herald Square on one of my visits, shortly after he moved there, and the sweetest sales associate gave us a 30% discount at check out as a welcome to NYC! Alia! My boyfriend and I just moved back to NYC last weekend too! It’s an insane time, good luck to you guys. The biggest target in Manhattan is in east Harlem, they will have everything you need it’s definitely worth the journey uptown!

That Target is unfortunately closing due to crime and theft. All other Targets in the city are "express" stores with minimal stock--and everything under lock and key.

i will be moving out of my country in a few months from now and i think this moving series just hit me at the right time. i feel embraced and love watching someone go through the same thing, even more because it helps with my anxiety. i have always loved your channel but i find it really awesome that we are living almost the same feeling (not the same cause i havent moved yet) at the same time. its nice seeing you happy and enjoying it. i hope you find your peace there 🩵 i am genuinely happy for you

NY native here! It makes me so happy when I see people moving to the city, any of the other boroughs or even to Long Island (where I’m from.) Since it’s the Fall season, I highly recommend going upstate to see the fall foliage especially in the Catskills and Adirondack Mountains. You should also come to Long Island to do some pumpkin and apple picking at two of our most popular family farms: “Harbes Family Farm” there’s one out in Mattituck, and one in Riverhead (both in Suffolk County which is the east end of Long Island going towards the sound) as well as Waterdrinker Farm in Manorville also in Suffolk County and in Riverhead. For Waterdrinker, I believe it’s $20 person in Manorville but $15 per person in Riverhead, Mondays-Fridays 10-6, weekends 9-6, the pumpkin are is free to go in but it costs a bit more to actually purchase the pumpkins. For Harbes, they’re open for apple picking only Mondays and Fridays 10-5 and weekends/holidays 9-6, credit cards only, admission is required but no reservations.

we only have 1 ac unit and it cools our whole apartment here in nyc (prob about like 25% larger than y’all’s because we have that astoria pricing on our side) but i feel like that unit would easily cook your whole place if you keep the doors open and close the windows! happy move in!!!

in the Ikea in Berlin, there are still sauce dispensers and self-service pickles, onions etc. You can order your hot dog on a screen, and the veggie is 1€, the vegan and meat 1,50€ It is a must on every visit!

I lived in NYC for almost 10 years and will likely move back. So happy you both are happy! NYC has a special place in my heart. Be careful when it floods that’s my big advice. If you don’t need to leave the house when it’s flooding, don’t. Especially if you’re downtown the rain can get treacherous. Macy’s Backstage is their clearance area. They have old and seasonal inventory they’re trying to move out. I was able to find a Tory Burch tote for over 50% off there. They DO have some good stuff, but it can be hit and miss!
