Pretty slick using the Picrite to spread the bedding in the Heifer barn. One trip instead of a bunch of skid-steer runs, and nice and fluffy. The fans really seem to make a bid difference on keeping the bedding dry,

There is so much here. Your father is away for a week. No matter, you just carry on, working very hard, doing whatever needs to be done and doing it very well. Is there a shortage in America too? We had a slight shortage in Europe but we have different trade laws with Russia. What's affecting us is the price of it. It peaked at almost 300% the price of previous years.

Eric -Just curious, is the wheat field you spread the manure in owned by the farmer you borrow equipment from? If it is, I think its great how you have that neighbors helping neighbors mentality to get the work done. 👍

Great idea reusing the bedding. We also made a mound on our concrete heifer lot for them to lay on. It’s a good way to dilute the sawdust so it doesn’t take up so much nitrogen fertilizer.

You should spread the new bedding with rhe manure spreader. Just fill it up back in and spread. Does a nice even layer.

try move the heifers every 3 day and after that let the paddock recover fully, you will get amazing grass and growth as you keep doing this.

good manure cleaning , barn bed soil replacement & excellent teat antibiotic administration for drying off cows # antibiotic in administration in teat canal prevent mastitis during dry period # awesome silage & grain feed # while U administered vaccine in the neck muscles cows head were in feed lot fence but not locked # as i understand the vaccine administered was Rota Virus vaccine #❤️👍👍
