9:42 "You Must Come Back Home" is a song reference I think - it's part of the chorus of "Come Back Home" by Seo Taiji and the Boys (1995), an incredibly popular song back in the day. My guess is, the dude is just randomly saying something in english since he can't speak it😂😂. He looks like he's in his 40s so it actually made sense he knew the song which was popular when he was young

FYI, 7:45 Eng sub was incorrect. The teacher's last answer meant "You both are in the same liberal arts curriculum track." He cleverly evaded with the student's question, and the student still didn't know she has any supernatural ability.

04:30 08:35 It's disrespectful bordering on aggressive to address a stranger with the casual "banmal" register, similar to how in certain regions of the US you might be expected to use "sir/ma'am" when addressing strangers, "mr/ms" when addressing teachers, or "officer" when addressing the police. Heesoo and Frank are being a bit too familiar in those timestamps. This dynamic regarding banmal vs. the more respectful jondaemal comes up again when we dive into the parents' stories.

Ok that makes things clearer. There's bits in later episodes I didn't totally understand when certain characters were saying others were being "too formal" or their tone was disrespectful

Moving is my fav drama of the year, so glad that it is doing well both in Korea and internationally. Anyway fyi, the story goes like: Ep 1-7 (Background stories of children) Ep 8-15 (Stories of their parents) Ep 16-20 (Stories of all of them together) It is a really good show that showcases the "human" side of stories well. If I'm not wrong the drama has the highest budget for a Korean drama in history, all the actors & actresses that played in this regardless of major or minor roles are either popular/big names or rising stars.

07:44 it was not an appropriate translation of what the teacher said "both of you are alike". The teacher actually said "we are all in the same liberal arts group ". In Korea, high school teenagers have to choose either liberal arts group or natural science group to more focus on their SAT exam and university. So, he was trying to not reveal her ability from the kid and you will see later why he did that.

Youre reacting to this too? i was waiting to see your reaction, achara. i thought you were gonna react to this with syntell. i was a little disappointed when i saw syntell reacting with someone else but lo and behold, youre reacting to it here. a surprise to be sure but a welcome one. :) i hope you both enjoy this drama. i absolutely loved this drama. while its not my number 1 favorite drama (that distinction still belongs to Signal). its cracked my top 5 for sure. Cant wait to follow you both on your journey to this drama. The actress who plays Huisoo is in dramas: Sweet Home (you reacted to the trailer with Jaby a while back) and Alchemy of Souls which you watched with Syntell. Not sure if you would recognize any of the other actors but i figured you might have been able to recognize Huisoo at least (Go Youn Jung is the actress). Out of the rookie actors, shes kinda the more well-known one, i think, compared to the other 2 rookie actors. Although I will say Lee Jung Ha (Bong Seok) has been in a couple dramas I've seen but i dont recognize him. Same with Kim Do Hoon (who plays Gang-hoon), hes been in a drama I've seen but i dont recognize him either. The male lead (the actor playing bongseok) gained quite a bit of weight for his role in this drama so a dedication win. haha. I also don't know if you noticed but Jincheon had super strength so when i noticed, i was like dang, he got wrecked by Frank pretty easily. lol.
