Love your videos and I'm so glad you spoke to video. I was a trifle concerned that you had gone 'captions only.' Great to have you back and look forward to hearing how your new setup works for you over time.

this is very inspiring. though I've watched a good deal of your vids... I don't think I realized until this one that you're a total funkhead. nice!! very tight jams. modern funk done really well!! bravo!!

Appreciate the kind words - tho the soundtrack for this video I cannot take credit for as it was licensed music from epidemics sound. But yes, I’m a big fan of modern funk obviously!

@@DUNGEONMUSICTHEATRE aaaah... the music I've heard you make in vids is always very cinematic type stuff. &, so, I've always figured that's what you do. (much like many of the rest of us out here.) then I hear all this funk... I'm like... dang!! okay!! many facets. but, yes... actually producing the funk or not, as long as it's in our mix, & in our system, then... we are informed, & connected to the mothership. ;-)

This is very timely as I've just taken a whole week rearranging and rewiring my whole studio space. Just got to do the computer,audio and MIDI set up. But excited to use the new streamlined space. But yes I need some artwork.

Thank you for sharing insight into your studio move. Curious as to the brand of your flight cases that house your outboard gear and the size and make of your computer monitor in your production room.
@DUNGEONMUSICTHEATRE9 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for stopping by! Yeah those flight cases made by Gator. But not sure if they make those anymore. The monitor is the ASUS ROG Swift PG43UQ 43” monitor. Cheers

My space is so badly in need of a complete tear down and rebuild. I’ve patched and shoehorned new things into the same small configuration for far too long. I dread the process but I’m sure it will be worth it.

Glad to hear! It’ll be worth it! :) good luck!

Mr Dungeon, .. yes, the right amount of space, and arrangement .. there's much to be said, for that. Looking pretty efficient, .. and the couch! .. :) .. I've got couple of different Hawaiian flags, that I'm going to use for my studio art .. just have get them pinned on the sloped ceiling, in a decent way.

Duuude... i worked as a theater tour\stage manager, i did this every freaking day... i still have ugly flashbacks when i see let's say modular synth..
@DUNGEONMUSICTHEATRE5 ай бұрын
ugh! I worked as an intern at a theatre as a lighting rigger and yeah.. the constant setup and break down was disconcerting at first. But I got use to it. I think tho, because this is my own rig, the stress was MUCh higher!

Cool studio. Did you not keep the Perkons? I’m considering buying it.
@DUNGEONMUSICTHEATRE7 ай бұрын
Too kind! Still have it, just in my gear room on the “synth wall” of sorts!
@songar067 ай бұрын
Do you recommend it for professional studio work? Thanks for answer.
@DUNGEONMUSICTHEATRE7 ай бұрын
I’d recommend it to get inspired by it? I’d use it for live gigs? But for studio work, i guess it depends on the type of studio work. It’s a “narrow” ish type of tool so I’m happy that serves as another “paint” brush but it wouldn’t be like my first or only drum/synth. Maybe like my 5th or 6th? Similar to the Pulsar. Hope this helps!
