Tarrant County TX is one of the most rapidly growing counties in the U.S. Not just in Ft Worth, but in other cities and towns. Ongoing construction attempts to improve traffic control. I live in North Richland Hills and I must say that it's a vibrant suburb of Ft Worth with communities who care and a lower crime rate than most other cities in Texas. Hurst, Bedford, Watauga, and Haltom City can be dumpster fires at times, but NRH has mostly nice people and public services, making it one of the best places to live.

What r ur thoughts on the dallas suburbs vs the suburbs in Houston? Like Frisco vs the woodlands? Or sugar land? I’m trying to decide which part of Texas to move to and am having the hardest time.
@DallasFortWorth
@DallasFortWorth 6 жыл бұрын
Nena, I grew up in North West Houston and now live in North East Dallas with offices in Dallas and Fort Worth. I'm confident we can help you. The Woodlands for example is one of the most successful master planned communities in history. It used to be "way out there" and is now basically contiguous development all the way to Downtown Houston and beyond to the coast in Galveston. Frisco has been one of the fastest growing and most desirable suburbs in the USA for near a decade. You are making appropriate comparisons, but there are many more options of course. Email me at Todd@ToddTramonte.com and we can connect you with a team member who can help you sift through your options.

I'm 30, married and looking to relocate to north Dallas or Houston, sugarland, Katy etc... I'm traveling in 6 weeks to visit areas that would be good to raise a family, not within the big city. Any ideas? Watermark church in Dallas or Kingsland Baptist in Katy, TX? I'm in Dallas for 3-4 days and Houston for 3-4 days. Thanks for any help and God bless!

Hi. Just a quick question about the employment situation there with regards to Covid19 and the hotel and hospitality / hotel-restaurant industry wise, are the hotels and hotel restaurants have their employees on furlough or are they laid off since last month or two? Or, even with Covid19, they still keep the hotel- restaurants and hotel bar/ restaurants open or closed for now due to Covid19 and employees are currently laid off or furloughed too just like California? Or, they're still actively hiring people now for employment? Do you by any chance know? Sorry, cause I know you said you were in the Real Estate business- just thought you might know the situation there. Thank you so much if you could answer my question. I appreciate it! 😀

That kind of money you will live like a king in Fort Worth ! I don't know if condo is what you want ? But I have to admit Dallas has a lot more condos. But Fort Worth is about to boom. So you may want to jump on it now. Just announced that a new condo will be built in downtown Fort Worth. It started to be 24 then 28 stories. Now it will be 30 stories. As the DIY network show "TexasFlipandMove" tells it . Housing is a hot market in Fort Worth also. twitter.com/FTWChamber/status/970722885034823681

Mingo, Fort Worth is a thriving job market and a very welcoming place to live. Due to license laws, we need to be careful about how we discuss any form of discrimination but generally speaking, FW is a diverse and hospitable community.

Fort Worth is not a "much smaller town" ? In fact Fort Worth is fast closing the gap on Dallas. Dallas is the 9th largest city in the U.S. San Antonio over took Dallas in population about ten years ago. Fort Worth now stands at 16th largest city in the U.S. And the projection is Fort Worth will be the 12th largest city in the U.S. in two three years. Some projection show Fort Worth and Austin will overtake Dallas in population in five to ten years. Not to say Dallas is not growing. Dallas is very much growing ! But other Texas cities are outpacing Dallas. True Fort Worth has the Stockyards very western. But you have a vibrant urban downtown. That is why in 2011 ESPN chose Fort Worth downtown (Sundance) over Dallas because of the Urban vibe. And the "Near southside" south of downtown Fort Worth. And "West 7th" west of downtown Fort Worth is very young and hipster. So in Fort Worth alone you have FOUR areas that have bars clubs and shops and a very active nightlife. Only one of the four areas is western cowboy themed.
@ToddTramonte
@ToddTramonte 6 жыл бұрын
Walter, it is a relative comparison but I certainly agree that Fort Worth is growing fast. The two towns have very different feels as far as calling them home. That's what I was illustrating. Many folks in FW are not thrilled that growth is happening so fast. Agreed?
@214dude2
@214dude2 3 жыл бұрын
Ft Worth feels a lot smaller due to it not being nearly as urban. Dallas has built so many highrises around the Downtown/Uptown area. Fort Worth has built hardly any. The growth in Fort Worth is mostly suburban style development. Ft Worth doesn’t have an answer for Uptown, Deep Ellum, Trinity Groves, etc. which surround downtown.
@texasborn2720
@texasborn2720 3 жыл бұрын
@@214dude2 I mostly agree with you about Fort Worth lack of Urban growth. If you look at what downtown Dallas and Fort Worth looked like 20 years ago. Dallas is the clear winner ! Downtown Fort Worth has hardly changed ? But. I very much disagree about Fort Worth has no answer to Dallas developments. Fort Worth certainly has a answer to Deep Ellum, Trinity Groves, Uptown. That by the way are wonderful and outstanding Dallas developments ! As I said before Fort Worth Near Southside, Medical district, Camp Bowie, Stock Yards , 7th Street, TCU And of course Sundance in downtown itself. All have grown larger and develop for the better. And more areas are coming along like Race Street Riverside district, Hemphill, And Texas Wesleyan University area. Some are calling it "Rosedale Renaissance" Not to mention Alliance, Western Center, Tarleton State development on the outskirts of the city. But They are more "suburban type" I would say Fort Worth has MORE answers to Dallas area developments like Deep Ellum. Funny when I posted that three years ago. I said Dallas is 9th and Fort Worth was 16th largest city in the U.S. And I said Fort Worth and Austin are closing the gap with Dallas. And that Fort Worth will be 12th largest in two three years. THAT HAPPENED ! It's official from the Census Bureau in 2021. Dallas is still 9th and Fort Worth is the 12th and Austin is 11th largest city in the U.S. as was predicted ! San Antonio continues to outpace Dallas and is the 7th largest city. Having said all that Fort Worth has not expanded it's professional base. In fact Fort Worth has lost many medium and small companies. Much less has not landed a major company relocation ? Fort Worth has a "inverted tax base" Dallas area as 32 major company headquarters. Fort Worth just has two ! The 2017 "economic plan" to address that has simply not worked. I don't like generational topics. But we are two days out from Fort Worth Mayoral and city council race. And a major shift has taken place at city hall age wise. That is hard to ignore. The boomer dominated city council is out. And Fort Worth is now run by GenX and Millennials ! Many are in their 30s ! Who beat out 50 and 60 year old's ! The New Mayor Mattie Parker, is a 37 years old Millennial herself ! And bringing major company headquarters too Fort Worth has been the priority of this new council. With very young city leaders. You have to expect new bold fresh ideas. We will have to wait and see if this new very young city council will finally change that ?
@texasborn2720
@texasborn2720 3 жыл бұрын
@@ToddTramonte Sorry I'm three years late answering ? lol But I think it is generational that some are upset that Fort Worth has grown. And by the way all that I predicted came true ! It is official from the Census Bureau Fort Worth is 12th largest city in the U.S. Dallas is still 9th. Austin is 11th. So the gap did narrow between Fort Worth Austin and Dallas. San Antonio is 7th. But Fort Worth has not grown it's white collar base. In fact has fallen further behind Dallas on that topic. But as I said to 214 Dude below. Fort Worth has just elected a new very young GenX Millennial city council. Over a Boomer dominated generation city council on June 5th 2021. The new Mayor is just 37 years old herself. One has to expect new bold fresh ideas to come out of this new very young city council ! We will just have to wait and see if that will occur ?
