Confusion, loneliness, some times you get kind of upset like running away from people, leaving far from them in the mountains. Being alone with The Lord is my personal sense of security.

Lord Jesus, I pray you remove the spirit of rejection related to the abuse in my life and the choices I've made. Replace it with your Spirit of adoption and restore my identity in Christ that was stolen from me as a child. Only you Jehovah Rapha can do what I ask. I'm desperate and grateful for your healing. My children rejected me after my Sever TBI , because I would say something not right back to them. But, I did not remember saying those things. Sometimes, words come out wrong. The biggest part, Is now I know I have really bad PTSD. None of my childrendecided, hey maybe I should find out as much as I can about this, because that is my Mom. They just rejected me. Now I am getting counseling! I have built a wall too. Please pray for me that I can break that wall. That I have had since childhood from the trauma then. All the way to the time of my severe trauma.

I chose this sermon because I'm going through a really painful breakup and my best friend also walked out of my life a couple days later. Hearing a man talking about deciding to propose to his girlfriend was just salt in the wounds that are so open. Not the greatest story to use in this sermon if I'm being honest. Made me instantly put up walls and struggled to listen to the rest of the message.

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Lord, @jessicavsbridget, we come to you tired, burdened, and weary knowing that you promise rest (Matthew 11:28). Grant us rest. We come to you seeking respite from the heaviness and uncertainty. In our weakness, may you grant us relief as we dwell in your presence. May your grace be sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9). We lay down the fear and anxiety on our heart. Lord, strengthen us with the courage to keep going, to continue to persevere through these difficult and trying days. Help us remain steadfast under trial (James 1:12), to run with endurance the race that is set before us (Hebrews 12:1), and to rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, and constant in prayer (Romans 12:12). Ruth, I am so sorry to hear that a church would reject and judge you. I would honestly pray for the church and those who have judged you that the Lord would shine His light through you. That He is the ultimate judge not them and to have mercy for them even though they have hurt you. If you believe in your heart that you are saved than no matter what anyone else says you know the truth. I know this is easier said than done but with God, prayer and petition all things are possible with Him. Laura

It’s easy to preach about moving past rejection when you have a beautiful fiancé thats waiting for you when you get off the oil rig. Try preaching about it being broke, ugly, and rejected by everyone. Good sermon but you don’t know what it’s like to be below rock bottom
