Kieslowski's tragic early death is the greatest loss to cinema since Jean Vigo. A flawless director.

+Mark Hilton 54 isn't what I'd call an early death. Besides, he retired in 94, two years before he died.

he and his writing partner wrote 3 scripts he planned on directing after his "retirement," so we could have easily had more Kieslowski in our lives had he lived longer
