This clip is a treasure. I'm so glad this building was repurposed in a way that still highlights its rich history, although I wish they'd have restored its original 1912 name, the "[Julian] Eltinge 42nd Street Theatre."

Times Square is a joke and destroying the Empire Theater to make a multiplex is the punchline.

It's most of Manhattan. Real estate developers took over the city's tax code and have been driving out most of what made the island unique.
