@ You know when you ask a Chinese about which food is delicious...I can't count. But it really depends on which province you choose to go. In JiangXi, it is famous for stirfries and rice noodle dishes and all kinds of snacks, same in Hunan. In Guangdong, duck, chicken, goose, seafood...it's just food heaven...

I eat lots of southern food, actually! It might not he super authentic, but my family enjoys southern flavors and spice. The cleaning lady my host family hires is from anhui province too, so I've tried some dishes from there

It's really common here, usually in older generations! Younger people don't tend to do it now, but it's all about keeping your body happy and healthy by removing any bad stuff from what i understand
