dear digital diary,
omg a big move. welcome to a new chapter in my life. (or maybe just a random side quest lol)
im really excited to be able to share and document everything with u all ♡
i am here in denmark doing my exchange semester in copenhagen. let me just say, i have loved every part of this city and i dont think ive felt this safe in a place besides japan. the architecture, cute cafes in every street, and the design. insane.
but with any big move, change can be scary and uncomfortable, and not always fun. but the only way i can grow is to put myself in uncomfortable positions and learn to love the process. and everything works out fine in the end anyway. or even life altering, dare i say.
with that being said, im so grateful to have the life that i do and to be able to explore and see the world.
i cant wait to see whats next... and stay tuned for next week when i actually start classes !

My home town is Copenhagen and this fall semester I went on exchange to Northern Norway where the environment and people are totally different from what I'm used to. Watching your vlog from Copenhagen comforted me a lot and cured my home sickness as well :'))

you should visit the yarn stores there, because copenhagen has many yarn stores. maybe that's a way to make some friends. there is also a yarn cafe in copenhagen which serves really good coffee and tea and snacks, but also sells yarn

100dkk is approx 15usd, cheap (not homecooked) meal would be like 50-100 dkk depending on where you go, average meal is around 100 to 150, and above average on a meal is probably 150 and above. If you do your groceries right and make homemade food everyday you could probably get away with spending 25 to 60 dkk a day on food depending on the ingredients.

Hi Miu! If you need some advise, or someone to call if you have some Q feel free to do so. I'am a retired teacher living at Østerbro. Some advice though. Prioritise relations with your new study friends (for not to be too lonely), buy D-vitamin for the winter time (D-pearls), find a hobby to get energi (running, bike futball, Fitness etc.) and bye the cheapest food in Netto, 365, and lokal shops. Hope you get through.

Rule of thumb: 1 USD = 7 DKK 1 EURO = 7,5 DKK You are now living 40 minutes from Sweden, and from a financial side it is interesting. The Swedisk Krone (SEK) is very low. 100 SEK = 65 DKK Good luck.
