I am thinking move back to JAX area. What is your recommendation for the desirable community to buy a retirement home? I am looking for a price range between $800-1000K. Sad to see how much Arlington has declined since I lived there as a kid in the 70s. I never got to experience Mandarin when I lived in JAX.

Hi but are there affordable apartments in Mandarin area? I visited Jax in 2016 and liked it. Didn’t really liked the Arlington area, despite friends saying it was a “highly desirable” area. I live in San Diego so I’m very picky about neighborhoods.

Bowles and Epping Forest are no where near Mandarin! They are north of Baymeadows and several miles north of Mandarin.

Mandarin used to be attractive..Quiet clean nice neighborhoods children safe and just plain happy place.. 500000 cars different people too many people
