Here's an idea... In case there is a technical problem with the cc due to the live streaming, perhaps at least the replay version could be published with valid cc (auto generated). No, you're certainly not speaking Dutch or German :) ... Dictions like yours and those of the dream team experts would normally generate fairly good cc (in other youtube channels).

Just wanted to let you know that despite selecting the cc option, my TV and my phone do not display the closed captions text. For this episode of 25th July, this is happening on my TV and on my phone. However for the episode of 18th July, the cc text does get displayed on my phone, but not on my TV. Seems to be a technical problem, and I haven't experienced this with any other KZbin channel. In the case of your videos, it is particularly important to get this sorted out, as the audio from some of your experts is not of sufficient quality (for example, the first expert called on the 25th, who gave some numbers about healthcare). As a general best practice, someone from your team could try to play the entire video after it has streamed, for quality assurance purposes

Thank you for following up and testing it on different devices. I've checked our settings and we do not have it disabled and there's nothing at all regarding only allowing it to work on certain devices and not others. I tested on mobile and desktop (android and windows, Google Chrome) no problems with the subtitles. It is tricky because there are so many different devices and then application updates on top of that which can also affect our viewers' experience which unfortunately is out of our hands I've let Carl know to check the settings for the live subtitling.
