My sister and brother-in-law bought a new house in the Grand Strand about 8 years ago. They moved from New Jersey. I was swimming in the community pool and as I started talking to the residents, they were all from New Jersey and New York! Myrtle Beach is now like the Jersey shore. Not for me!!

It’s not at all like Jersey Shore. Just because there’s a few people from NY & NJ doesn’t make the whole place like Jersey Shore. There are still way more people who are not from the north. You seem like the type of person that claims that your entire house is flooded when you spill a few drops of water on the floor. 🤦‍♂️
