Moved to Nigeria twice and I am back for good in the States. Everyone’s experience/reason for moving will be different and yes there is no place like home but couldn’t find employment with my PharmD degree and had student loans to pay so made the decision to move back and settle in the US, loving my health career and getting to practice my profession in Texas. I am happy and fulfilled and that’s the bottomline. Nigeria is good but you have to be sure of your “why” and “how” to navigate the challenges.

@@sonofayiti8853 yes because when anyone says American accent, we know who the Americans are...the US accent. That’s how dominant and imperialist the US is in the world. How about you take your own advice, not waste your precious time responding to your said “pointless” responses. Your problem you want to be left stewing in your ignorance, sorry not sorry will disrupt it whenever I see it😏
@sonofayiti88534 жыл бұрын
@@thandisilec835 OK bravo mama. Glad your disruption of my "ignorance" makes you happy. Only thing is you're not the authority on accents. And last I checked there was no authority on what accents goes where. But since you seem to be the expert help us ignant folks out and make a documentary on it so you can make some money and not disrupt people on youtube for free. FYI there are multiple accents in America just like there are everywhere else. I'm sure in Africa (maybe) they would hear her accent and think Nigerian. But all of the sudden foreigners are ignorant because they identify someone speaking with an African accent and don't know one could be actually speaking with a Nigerian accent? But its ok for foreigners to not differentiate between a New York and Boston accent because America is so dominant? All opinions and no facts therefore pointless. GTFOH If you ain't bringing positivity to my post go somewhere else and leave mines alone.
@thandisilec8354 жыл бұрын
@@sonofayiti8853 fact remains there’s no African can accent but there is an American accent which is what anyone anywhere in the world means when they speak of anything American. You seem not to have any understand how American imperialism has worked, that one country the US literally no end that descriptor now. So please learn for future that there’s no monolithic anything in Africa...that’s your lesson for this weekend. And I will absolutely engage you especially if you’re being ignorant AF. i publicly, otherwise you shouldn’t have written anything on a public platform if you wanted no engagement, go write in your journal😂

However if you prefer live downtown ( Queen West , south Etobicoke)that will run you about $2500 and up for a 1 bedroom but it would be closer to Humber College Lakeshore.
