what is your # 1 tip for staying grounded in the midst of change?!
@andreacullen7706 ай бұрын
I will add my comments here as an older retired person. I’m impressed with how you take advantage of the opportunities coming your way. With the stress of a new city, finding a new home /neighbourhood, a ‘new’ job (some of it is new) you could just curl up and wallow in the stress and feelings of being unsettled. You are however really leaning into it all, feeling the feelings but still working, going out to places you have never been and finding your coffee place/yoga place/juice place. It is impressive! You are a resilient young woman and you will look back on all of this one day and hopefully be impressed with yourself! :)

When you’re much older, you will be so thankful that you did this. Every change is challenging (even smaller ones) and you are dealing with MANY changes - simultaneously. You’re getting through everything with grace and honesty. Like I’ve said before, tons of people much older than you haven’t learned how to do this yet and likely never will. 🌻🌻

I’m old…I’m a baby boomer and now I’m retired. I found you through my feed on KZbin. I have to give a lot of accolades to you for putting your thoughts and desires into action. I was never as brave as you are when I was at your age. Being 60, I truly like to see young adults make their dreams a reality. I can see that maybe you might want to consider buying a juicer. Save lots of money and it’s better for you. Probably a good idea to eat out less…eat less processed food. I also know you’re getting used to your new life style in NY. Good video. Love that you’re so positive too. 🌼

I never mentioned this but I found your channel awhile ago cause I got put on a gluten free diet for awhile cause of some GI problems I had and searching on KZbin I found you lol. Around this time I was in a huge funk especially in life always stressed out and stuff. I then came across your video about life as a post grad. And there was one quote that I will always remember something you said. It’s not the destination but the journey that matters. Because your right the journey may not always be smooth sailing but how you make it that is important and never forget that.

Love watching you settle into your new city. It’s always so hard when you’re out of a routine but you’ll be in one soon enough. But ooooh child the music at 11:24. 😂😂😂 had to zip past that.

I can feel the positive vibes coming thru! It’s ok when you need to vent though so nothing wrong with that. I am loving your adventures there. Be safe and know we are rooting for you and all you do. Made me laugh about the pronunciations lol 😂. I’d be the same way over the same words! The joy is in the journey they say! Life might be boring when everything is ironed out lol! Then you go for the next thing! : ) Have fun!

Taking time to stand in the moment. In these times we live in its easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle. We sometimes feel as if moving all the time and always doing"things" will get us through change. Sometimes all it takes is being still and standing in the moment.. 😊

In order to stay grounded, I try to incorporate one thing that makes me feel good and is familiar. Lik working out, taking daily walks, and eating food that makes my body feel good. Also, journaling helps A LOT. You will find your balance without a doubt.

Wait till you are serious apartment hunting! The broker fees you are gonna pay is going make your mind explode! I would recommend getting your documentation together this week. Skip that yoga class or random event. Get your sleep too! Excited for future blogs of apartment hunting!
