🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥🟥 Looking great! If I know I’m going to need more brainpower for a book I HAVE to make sure I’m not doing anything else. Maybe the dishes or showering. Driving is iffy if I’m in town but for longer trips it’s okay. Otherwise I half-listen to things and don’t get as much out of the book. I know most people would say if they have to make sure they aren’t distracted it’s not worth it but if I really think I’ll enjoy the premise I think it’s worth it. I would say if the premise seemed intriguing maybe try listening when you’re doing things that don’t require so much focus. I’m not sure how that would work since you’re already into book 2…you could always listen to a bit of book 1 again or reread a little physically and see how you feel. I’ve personally never read Red Rising but would like to, so I can’t really speak to the content right now. I like to listen to something contemporary if I might get distracted that way I don’t have to worry about world building!

I'm so confused... In America can you just do any painting and wall hangings and such in rentals? In Queensland Australia, we can't do anything without approval and you never get approved for anything...like not even to hang pictures. Also side note. I love all your expressions 😄
