The question I get a lot is, why did you sell something you OWN to RENT an apartment?:
The market was too good not to sell, I was ready to move out of my condo, I put a couple offers in on a few houses, got neither, and am renting until the right house for me comes up :) I am so happy where I am

Take bench out the bedroom and put with the dinning table- turn the table horizontal and put bench on wall - Horizontal table- chair on each end and two chairs in front - just a thought! 🙌🙌🙌🙌 love the place! 🥰🥰

I like this idea and you could move the bar cart by your front door or in one of the closets and move the mirror where the cart was to get the natural light in. I’m super late to the game lol but love the apartment!

Hear me out.. switch to a round glass table it would look GORGE with those chairs and it’ll get it off the wall and you’ll still have space to move around it and then you can still keep the mirror there

Haven't even watched the whole video yet but already, seeing the apartment, I appreciate seeing a vlog of a more realistic apartment, meaning because lots of youtubers on here move into ridiculously beautiful apartments that just make me so sad because I'd love to do the same but I can't afford it lol. You're apartment is very similar to the one I'll be moving into soon!! It's beautiful on a budget!

Don’t know if you mentioned this but curtains for the family room!! Hanging the curtain as high as possible on the wall will add height to the space!

Remove the bench from the room (maybe put it on your balcony for now or at your parents if you want it long term), remove the mirror from the kitchen area (keep the one in the bedroom), get some curtains to tie it all together and hang them at the ceiling but buy them so they droop on the floor a little bit (like 92-108"). A tip for outside as well since in the summer time the pool will likely get packed, get some outdoor curtains/rod and hang it to create some privacy on your balcony if you plan on using it - you can also get a mesh privacy screen on amazon to tie onto your balcony as well so no one can see thru your balcony railing. Congrats on the super cute apartment!

Love how your apartment is coming together! I’m just stuck on how they said that they couldn’t bring your couch up to your place. I would’ve definitely called the company about that. That was super inconvenient but thank goodness you received help.

i am in love with that couch! i seriously spent months and months researching couches early this year and the one i wanted, The Emmett Modular sofa from World Market was out of stock for 5 months and i would check & call them all the time but they didn't know when or if it would be coming back in stock, so i gave up and got something that's similar to yours but not nearly as cute, and i'm not kidding, the sofa i wanted was back in stock less than 2 weeks after i bought the other one AND to make it even worse, they came out with a new color that was perfect for my house. I am still so mad about it!

I would in corporate some warm tones, you have a lot of cool tones which are great but to spice up the space I think it would be good. Maybe no runner on the table - it’s so gorgeous! Don’t want to cover it up and it’s beauty 🥳!

you can use storage bins of different colors and sizes as well for the closet. And for the mirrors put 1 mirror in the bathroom and 1 in the bedroom.

Try lavender oil and water in a spray bottle, very soothing. Also peppermint oil and water works well, both scents keep bugs to the minimum.

I would take the bench out and agree put the dining tabel horizontal and do chairs. I don't think you need bench at all and also recommend smaller lights on your night stands if they were thinner it would take up less room and not seem as cluttered either

maybe add an accent color! a color you’ll see on rugs, runners, some decor. maybe forest green or a burgundy red :) those colors fit with every season in my opinion

Hii! I got the same couch as you and I love it! I’m not sure if you don’t know this or you just didn’t want to use them but it has legs! They should be either zipped inside the bottom of the couch or you should call and say you never got them

I realize this videos old now but it just popped up on my home page. I could envision that big mirror next to the dining room table hanging long ways above the couch. I also wonder if your couch came with feet that you were supposed to attach. Usually they come underneath inside a zipper compartment. Very cute apartment. I do think the bench in the bedroom made it a little cramped. I wonder if you kept it there. Also how did you wind up cleaning your bedding. Did you throw it in the wash and what’s behind the door next to the front door. Good luck in your not so new home. This was a cute video.
