Your strawberries look amazing. The bunnies keep eating mine. My husband jokingly says bunnies need to eat too, lol. It's ok to let tomatoes ripen on the counter, which I do at the end of the growing season just before a frost, but they taste even better if they ripen on the vine. Also fried green tomatoes are super good. Cut thick slices, and flour them in a mix of half flour & half corn meal. In my frying flour mix I include garlic salt & cayenne red pepper just for flavor not too much for heat. I measure the seasonings by sprinkling out a thin line across the flour mix of the garlic salt & cayenne. I store the flour mix in a quart mason jar in my cupboard to fry up other things like chicken or pork chops or pork cube steak. Pour out just enuf flour mix to fry up the tomatoes or meat. Do not put the unused back in your mason jar after you have used it. The big cucumbers just have more seeds & may be a bit softer, I cut the seeds out & eat them anyway. If the cucumber is very soft it's rot. Scrub them under cool water to run off the lil nubs. Personally I like to peel off the green skin when eating them raw, some don't. The smaller ones have less seed & are more crunchy.

Ohh that’s cute! I’m sorry the bunnies are getting to them! Fried tomatoes sound divine! I’ll have to absolutely give those a try! Thank you for the suggestion& recipe! That’s amazing! I’ll have to report back on those! As for the cucumbers I will keep that in mind! I love eating them raw with the skin on ! So far all the ones I have had have been great so thank you for the tips !!❤

I have a phobia of snakes! I saw a 4 foot black rat snake in my garden a couple months ago. My tips are: 1. Don't have bird feeders out. It attracts rodents (even cute ones like chipmunks, which is what attracted my snake). My cats and I enjoyed seeing the birds, but wasn't worth it to me after seeing the snake. 2. Keep your grass cut super low. I know longer grass is nice for pollinators, but grass helps snakes hide from birds of prey and it makes it hard to see when you are walking. If you want to help pollinators, have specified pollinator gardens instead of your grass being longer. I am planning on crocheting a little snake to have some exposure therapy cuz I didn't go out into the garden for weeks!

I really enjoy the mix of content! This video was definitely fun to watch. Some advice for the garden: when the cucumbers go yellow the plant will stop producing. For tomatoes, they have to have some color, but you can wait for them to ripen fully on the vine with the only concern being birds getting to them first. Also in case you don't know cucumbers and tomatoes are annuals so they do have to be replanted every year. You can buy plants or start from seeds (more work but cheaper). There are a lot of charts online for when to start seeds or plant plants for your area. Strawberries will grow back but it can be helpful to cut them back to three inches after they are done fruiting to allow for next years leaves to start. When picking wild berries, my parents and I will listen to a podcast or something so there is noise to scare away rattlesnakes. I don't know if it works for other snakes, but might be worth a shot! Sorry for the long comment and hope it is helpful!
