I'm 58 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. I think it is good for you to teach koba to be left on his own as if you need to for whatever reason he will really struggle and could develop separation anxiety which is more damaging that slowly building up his resilience to being left alone , dogs are usually fine on their own for up to 4 hours
