So we are packing up moving back to Georgia from Alaska! Because it was such a long trip, the cost to ship our belongings was insane! Instead, we chose to use Upack! We had movers help us load the big stuff so it could fit with enough space for us to pack the rest of it! It seemed so small at first but actually fit so much stuff in it! We just wanted this video to be helpful to someone else that may be considering using Upack! There were still things we couldn't fit so we had to sell and purchase again when we arrived!

Echoing some of the other comments, thanks so much for the break down! It's difficult to envision all our stuff fitting but it likely will! We're moving across country in May and this is the first move we decided not to get rid of everything 🙈 a lot more stressful moving with belongings than just throwing some clothes and the cats into the car haha

Oh absolutely! I was super worried if we would have enough room for everything in this one cube or if we would need two! We really didn't want to spend the money for two if we didn't have to and no one was really specific of all that could fit! Glad you found this helpful! Moving is stressful enough, believe me, I know! 🙂

Update: it all fit! Kind of crazy 🤣 Had about 20% of each (2) cubes still free but it was at the top and we didn't have enough light items to fill the space with. Might have been able to move with just one cube if we'd sold some things. Thanks again!

Wow thanks for sharing your video, I’m relocating in a few weeks and was nervous about the 1 Relocube I ordered. After watching your video I felt better about just getting the 1 Relocube I have no furniture just boxes, containers plastic bags and clothes on hangers covered with garbage bags. I see you can get a lot in a Relocube depending on how you pack it. Again, I thank You so much for sharing it helped a lot and eased my anxiety be blessed!!!

We were a bit nervous too about just getting the one cube, but we said we’d just pack the heck out of it! 😂 You should def have more than enough space for your items! Thank you soooo very much for sharing this informational knowledge with us. It has helped make the choice & decision much easier! Now the only question is, whether to bring my small shipment (that will only fill a quarter of that entire space! LOL) to them to fill it or from my apt and store it on the other end until I get settled. Someone mentioned elsewhere that once you pack it, you won't have access to it until you are ready to take possession. Great video. Much appreciated. I just have to keep reminding myself that that almost $2,500 quote is justified because I'm paying for *convenience!* Being able to fly and not worry and not be stressed outdriving it personally from CT to FL is simpy the cost of personal convenence...

were you guys able to request upack to get empty and full weight for PPM purpose? How long do they allow you to keep the relocate cube before picking up and dropping off? I did PMM from VA to CA last summer using Uhaul trailer but intend to try something else out.

The only bad thing I have found researching is that they say to allow 11-13 working days for delivery to your new house. Seriously? So you have to live in a hotel/motel for 2 weeks waiting for your stuff to arrive?

Yea true but we made it work you know. U could just bum it in the house for a little bit too lol! We sent it a few days before we actually left and just did the blow up mattress thing and bought some stuff to hold us over when we made it back to the lower 48
