The beginning portion of this song made me tear up. My girlfriend, Lise took her life on November 3rd this year. She was from Fontainebleau and we loved each other. I don’t know what tormented her but when we would spend time, it was magical and we would watch this movie because it was the only Disney/Pixar movie she liked. Not exaggerating - this has changed the way I do my homework. Anyone else wish they could live in a world that this soundtrack accompanies? Yes, I know I could simply go to Paris (and wouldn't that be something?), but I mean specifically _Pixar_ Paris, with this glorious, romantic, hopeful music swelling all around you. I dunno, man. Ratatouille has become my favorite movie since quarantine last year and now I'm obsessed- _Send help-_ EDIT: Just wanted to come back here real quick to say that I _might_ be going to Paris next summer!! Key word is "might," of course, but my family and I are already planning my potential trip! I feel nervous about the prospect of visiting a new country with an entirely different language and culture all on my own (as well as finding time in-between my classes, and also possibly finding a job over there), but my fears aside, I also feel so happy that my dream of visiting France might actually be possible!! :D EDIT No. 2: Alrighty, so the Paris trip didn't work out this year. But... someday. Someday, I'll get to France, even if it's the last thing I do. :)

When I was a kid I was dreaming of becaming chef because of Ratatoille, the life didn't support me and im an engineering student. I still love cooking, baking and sharing with everyone. There are few things in this world more enjoyable than being floored by a movie from which you expected little. Worn out from chasing my toddler around years ago, we watched this beauty together after saving it on the DVR for months after recording it on a whim from one of the movie channels. I could not believe the quality and depth of what I was watching. The look on Ego's face as he tastes the dish, it just hits universally. Several years later, I rode Remy's ride at Epcot and actually choked up a little. Not everyone can cook, and not everyone can make a great movie, but a great film can knock you on your ass. "SURPRISE ME!"

Ratatouille is by far the best movie I have ever seen by Pixar! Being a hotel employee , I am working as a executive for Front office department, I changed all lobby music to Pixar BGM and the playlist starts from Ratatouille then Up movie BGM and so on so on! It has always been my dream to work in a hotel in France or any other hotel in Europe and a single hasn't passed me dreaming and trying to get in one ! I was lucky enough to visit Paris last year and it was unforgettable I've been trying to replicate and recall the mentality and emotions I felt when I was there and this video has been on repeat. If I listen to this and close my eyes I am almost transported instantly back to the small side streets, the cobblestone paths along the Seine, and the glow of the city at dusk. i’ve been going to disney world ever since i was little. and every time i’ve been, it was always with my grandma. i remember we’d always stop in the france pavilion at epcot just to sit and eat ice cream while staring at the lagoon. sadly, she passed away in 2020 and i haven’t been to disney since. but my birthday is coming up and i’ve decided i will make a trip to epcot just to go to the france pavilion and eat ice cream while staring into the lagoon in remembrance of her.

Awww I'm so sorry. I've had pet rats too - most recently, a group of three sweet brothers who all passed away from old age in 2023. I miss them so much and still get tears in my eyes when I think about them, even though it's been more than a year. The only bad thing to say about rats is that they can't stay with us for longer. When i came home, i was reading a book i bought in Shakespeare and Company ( a famous bookstore in Paris) and was listening to this while reading and I felt so happy and sad (mainly cause i missed Paris more). I think the reason why we love these films as kids is because there so outlandish. Could you imagine seeing rats ride books and makeshift pots for boats down a river? Pizza recipe :) ingredients Pizza Crust 1 package dry yeast 1 tablespoon sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup non-fat dry milk powder 1 1/3 cup warm water (105 degrees F) 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for dough) 4 cups all-purpose flour Pizza Sauce 1 can (8-ounce size) tomato sauce 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram 1/2 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt Assembly 9 ounces vegetable oil (3 ounces per pan) butter-flavored cooking spray mozzarella cheese pizza toppings as desired directions For the dough: Combine the yeast, sugar, salt, and dry milk in a 2-quart size mixing bowl. Add the water and stir to mix. Let the mixture sit for 2 minutes or until the yeast starts to bubble. Add the oil to the dough mixture and stir to combine. Add the flour in one cup increments, stirring after each addition, until a dough forms and the flour is all combined. Turn the dough out onto a flat, lightly floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes. Divide the dough into three equal balls. Place about 3 ounces of oil in the bottom of each 9-inch cake pan or cast-iron skillet. Tilt the pans to spread the oil evenly. Using a rolling pin, roll out each ball of dough to a 9-inch circle and place in the prepared pans. Lightly coat each dough disk with cooking spray or oil and cover with plastic wrap. Place in a warm, draft-free location and let rise for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until puffy. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by combining all the ingredients until blended. Let sit at room temperature for at least one hour. The sauce can be made ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator. Bring to room temperature before using it. Preheat the oven to 475 degrees F. For each 9-inch pizza: Spoon 1/3 cup of the sauce on the dough and spread to within 1 inch of the edges. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 ounces of shredded mozzarella cheese. Place toppings of choice in the following order: thin meats like pepperoni or Canadian bacon, vegetables, ground or cubed meats, additional mozzarella cheese. Place the pizzas in the oven and cook until the outer crust is brown and the cheese is bubbly in the center (11-15 minutes, depending on how many toppings you use). Remove from the oven. In many ways, the work of a student is incredibly hard. We risk a lot, yet enjoy a position under those who judge our work harshly. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to read. But the bitter truth we students must face is that in the grand scheme of things, the average teacher thinks we're lazy when in real life we cannot focus because we are neurospicy. But there are times when a student truly risks something, and that is in the discovery and defense of the hyperfocus. The world is often unkind to new talent, new creations and new ways to concentrate. The new needs friends. In the past I have made no secret of my disdain towards my mental health and concentration. But I realize only now do I truly understand what it needed. Not everyone can become a great student by following the simple rules, but a great artist student can focus with this awesome music. For that I owe you my friend my life. Thank you for this masterpiece and thank you for helping me through rough nights. It truly is a pleasure studying with this piece of art itself in the background.

There's a reason why Ratatouille will always be Pixar's magnum opus and the OST plays such a big role in that 😭Listening to these ambient music vids make me think about my Disney trip last Jan with my best friend who's dream was to go to Disney for the first time (and America in general). Watching this video as an adult made me realise something: Normal people will live and die to get good reviews for their restaurants. They think their entire life effort should be determined by a single person in that single moment. But people like Marco Pierre proved otherwise when he returned the Michelin stars, one of the highest titles a chef can have (and he had 3). He said "I was being judged by people who had less knowledge than me, so what was it truly worth? I gave Michelin inspectors too much respect, and I belittled myself. I had three options: I could be a prisoner of my world and continue to work six days a week, I could live a lie and charge high prices and not be behind the stove or I could give my stars back, spend time with my children and re-invent myself" What a giga-chad. Gave me a whole new look about this film. Imagine if Remy rejected Anton Ego's praise...
