There are few things in this world more enjoyable than being floored by a movie from which you expected little. Worn out from chasing my toddler around years ago, we watched this beauty together after saving it on the DVR for months after recording it on a whim from one of the movie channels. I could not believe the quality and depth of what I was watching. The look on Ego's face as he tastes the dish, it just hits universally. Several years later, I rode Remy's ride at Epcot and actually choked up a little. Not everyone can cook, and not everyone can make a great movie, but a great film can knock you on your ass. "SURPRISE ME!"

I ended up crying over my lost childhood. My mum passed away last summer, we always watched the movies together. This was my second Christmas watching them alone. Anything Harry Potter related will have me crumble inside and i find myself overcome with great nostalgia. I feel incredibly happy and devastated at the same time. I really wish we could all go home to Hogwarts and meet our favorite characters and each other❤️i wish i had an afterlife at Hogwarts and the wizarding world waiting for me🥹then i could endure these horrific muggle years
