Thanks very much! I haven’t tried the microphone from a distance… I’ll be sure to do a follow up video and test it out. The mic is directional and it picks up everything. I made the mistake of moving to the side and it barely picked up my voice, and instead picked up a car that was passing in front of it. Thanks for the question. I will make a follow up and test it along with a different mic to see the difference

I’m sorry, this particular kit was for iPhone however there should have been multiple chords inside that would connect with your phone. My kit had chord connections for both. I’d say reach out to them and see if they can help.

It should automatically pick up sound once plugged in. Just do a sound check to make sure

The microphone is good! 👍 it’s omnidirectional, so it picks up EVERYTHING! Took me a while to get used to it. But it’s perfect if you’re indoors on like a podcast. Thanks for the question!

What does the switch on the mic do?

It’s a low cut filter. It removes lower frequencies from your audio. Typically gives a more crisp sound by blocking out unwanted low pitched frequencies

Yes it will! It works with all iPhones. If yours has the older 3.5 jack, it will also work with the included adapter cords

Does it not register you mic at all? My mic automatically works when I plug it in, it just didn’t get any notifications that it was connected, but it is.

I tried clicking each of them one at a time but it still didn’t work. I went to record my video, I was speaking and the mic was plugged it but when I went to go rewatch the video, there was no audio

Hello!! Yes Im still happy with it! I use the selfie stick part almost everyday. But the light and mic I don’t use at all. I upgraded to a wireless mic instead. Thanks for the question

@@roxannecox7861 no problem! Ask away! My tripod fell over while filming and cracked the base of the light. It actually still works too, but it’s hanging by the wires. 😂 the longest I’ve used the light constant is about 20mins. I haven’t used it in months, and I’ve actually never charged it and it still turns on. 👍
