Good video, and I DID appreciate your quick editing... most folks ramble ... you were quick and to the point.

I don't know why everyone's giving you a hard time. You spoke quickly, but it wasn't hard to understand. Thanks for the review! The mic doesn't sound great, so I'm going to continue my search.

Thanks for this review! I wondered if you had separated the transmitter and the receiver, would the feedback be eliminated?? I’m thinking that would have done the trick.

Thank you for taking the time to do this review! I just upgraded my camera (GH5) and gimbal (Ronin S) and now I’m ordering a set just in time for storm season. :)

I think rotating tip is to prevent the strain on the cable from twisting. Pretty smart if you think about it.

my receiver blue light kept flashing even on the same channel. It tried most of the channels, what should I do?
@planetguam84756 жыл бұрын
I'm having the same problem. Receiver blue light flashing means it's not connected to transmitter. I tried everything nothing works.
@RayTheVideoGuy5 жыл бұрын
If that is happening, contact MOVO, it could be a defective unit.

I have the very same WMIC70 as you Trying to make it work on the following smartphones to no avail. Samsung S Plus iPhone 11 Pro Max When connected the smartphone mic is active not the WMIC70 I am open to your suggestions I would really appreciate someone that has this setup and have it working to show me.

is the XLR cable for microphone input, or output to an XLR recorder?
@JoltReviews8 жыл бұрын
Mic input
@andynewby45658 жыл бұрын
The XLR cable is for use with the receiver to connect to a video camera with XLR input. The reviewer shouldn't be making assumptions.

I have the MOVO WMIC80, which is crystal clear. Never had a 70, but it seems like a big improvement. Still only $149. bit.ly/2VNxH99

Great review! The loud noise you get when you change channels is the receiver losing connection with the transmitter and picking up background noise as it tries to reconnect. Other receivers have a squelch circuit that mutes the output when signal is lost, so you don't get that awful sound. We use several Sennheiser receivers in our studio and they are notorious for this. The trick with them is to rotate between different frequencies, with the transmitter turned off, until you find one that has no static, then sync your transmitter to that frequency. You might check to see if you have some other wireless device that is on or around the same frequency that the Movo uses, might also explain the poor audio quality. I've watched a few other reviews of this mic, considering getting one, and they sounded way better than yours. Some reading if you want to learn more: www.shure.com/americas/support/find-an-answer/what-is-squelch-on-a-wireless-receiver

You sound pretty verse on this subject. Maybe you can help me out. My receivers blue light flashes, indicating lost of connection. I tried syncing all channels with no luck. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

With the audio quality starting out like it did... I couldn't take this seriously. Why would you record like this and then review audio equipment? I don't think you were talking too fast though, that part I was ok with. To the point. NIce.
