As of May 2019 this is now a sanctioned trail. Awesome, thanks TORCA! Video title and description updated accordingly.

It’s not sanctioned and torca has had nothing to do with this trail
@DaleStone4 жыл бұрын
Correct, sanctioned is not the right word. It has been enabled as a publicly visible trail on Trailforks by TORCA admins, which unfortunately is as good as you're going to get for Burke!

I just found your channel the other night. I don't know what I love more about your videos; the quality, simple editing, no stupid music. Just you shredding some trails. Keep it up my dude.

Love that trail! Its definitely a bit of a hike but totally worth it, the wood on it is unlike anything else on that mountain and it's super fun.
@DaleStone6 жыл бұрын
It's quite a polarizing trail. You either quite like it or hate it, doesn't seem to be any in-between!
@andreasgunster65326 жыл бұрын
Dale Stone It's definitely tight and twisty but really enjoy the traverse type nature of the trail mixed with the awesome stunts and rock rolls. I also just love how it's so unique, there's nothing else on that mountain quite like it.

What a great looking trail. Great mix of natural with a little woodwork thrown in for good measure. Thanks for sharing. Def have to get off the shore and give this a go. Minus the woodwork this is just like some of the shore trails we can't ride.

Jeff E super fun trail for sure, I love the technical challenges along with some good natural sections. Get out there and explore!

I rode this trail yesterday. Probably a couple notches beyond my skill level. I had more fun on the trails on the lower mountain.

trail looks so different on video, i didnt even realize ive ridden this like 5 times, recognised the rock roll/ladder. Fun trail! theres a couple other good loamers out there a bit higher up.

Justin Kuhn very interesting! I know of MF/WG, but you're suggesting there are others above this one too? Might have to take an exploring day sometime soon...
@eh4hk66 жыл бұрын
actually yeah i was hinting at WG , i actually just swept that one of all branches and stuff, its in good condition right now.

Rode this trail today. GoProb footage just doesn't show the reality of the trail. This trail is steep. The wood to rock feature is likely 10-12 feet with the rock being almost vertical. Awesome trail. I hope it continues to exist. Maybe some day I'll be good enough to ride all of it.

Waaaay too greasy right now too, haha.

I agree with other comments below...I really appreciate the effort you put into these videos; no music and other stuff, just riding!! Well done. Just wondering...are you able to recommend any trails / trail networks for a guy in his mid-50s who crashes (a lot) and is still pretty new to MTB riding (this summer) but still prefers intermediate trails over straight green singletrack? Thanks again.
@DaleStone4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'd suggest giving Thornhill and Delta Watershed a look based on those criteria.

Outstanding footage for its time. You mentioned that this was filmed on a GoPro 6, but I assume you used a gimbal as well? I think I can even hear a slight whirr from the motors doing their thing :)

Hey Dale Stone, how's this trail riding today? I see this video is a few years old.
@DaleStone3 жыл бұрын
Snow just above the triple crown entrance as of three hours ago, so I'm not sure what another winter has done to it! Was definitely not quite as fresh as pictured before the snow, haha.

Sick looking trail! Not going to ask for directions/location, but is this on the same mountain as Secret Loamer 1&2? The forest looks a bit different but maybe it's just different times of year. Gotta do some exploring haha.
@DaleStone6 жыл бұрын
Nope, not the same mountain, get out there and get exploring!
@hobmarg6 жыл бұрын
Thanks... I came across a few new ones on the shore the past couple weeks... noticed a nice looking loamy turn 100 feet off a sanctioned trail so I started hiking. Worth it.

@@DaleStone yeah, you make this trail look easy. The features are clever and tricky. I'll be making more trips up there.
