Joe I usually dont tear the engines down just do the basic service and clean up. Takes arond 1hr and a half on each mower. This is why i suggest specific mowers on the Masterclass dvd. Thanks

I've got one of these mower but the petrol tank has started to leak, I've stripped it off following your video and can now see a couple of pin holes on the underside of the tank. What would be your recommendation, buy a new tank? If so any reputatable petrol tank sellers? Or would you use some sort of filler? Thanks for the great video helped massively.

Hi great vid's i have the same engine b&s classic 35 dosent run smoothly slight surging ! i have changed the diaphram & gasket cleaned carb & tank 3 times seems like fuel starv any idea's or could it be pulling air !new plug looks a bit rich , thanks den.

Check the intake manifold gasket and the head gasket. Change the spark plug and try a seperate tank and carb Sometimes the plastic carb warps over time, also make sure the two rubber wasshers on the back of the carb are seated properly and not leaking

Great video, are you sure that's a snapped bolt on the exhaust guard, every engine I've ever done only has 1 bolt and that snubby bit is to locate the guard and stop it swivelling on the bolt.

Hi, Great vids. Quick question. Trying to keep costs down and thinking of bulk buying spare parts, where do you buy your spark plugs and diaphragms from.. Cheapest I can find is £2.40 a unit for diaphragm and a couple of quid a unit for spark plugs.. It's obviously all starts to add up.. Just wondering if you could advise on where to buy cheaper in bulk? Also which plugs do you use? Thanks

Hi i usually keep a list of saved sellers using ebay and use them again . Some sellers will do you a deal if you contact them and ask to buy in bulk
