Tom, you have such an amazing work ethic and in your short life have acquired considerable knowledge in your own right. Your Dad, however, is a superstar! The variety and quantity of knowledge that man has is staggering! I'm curious how he instilled that work ethic in you kids and at what age did he and your Mom start you kids learning to work? I love your kindness with the animals and courtesy towards one another. Very wonderful to see! Love your videos Tom.

Day of the week doesn't matter - a sunny day spent mowing hay is one of life's great pleasures. You guys could use a bigger mower - the Hurlimann could run a 3 meter mower.

@@TomPembertonFarmLife Wow. My uncle used to run a Kuhn FC350 with an old Farmall 706 - about 75 pto hp - quite nicely. The Hurlimann has that much power? But then again, not many farmers would complain about a bigger tractor if that was needed for a new mower. . .

If you ever want to change your mower and really like drum mowers, would highly recommend a claas corto, just to big drums and a conditioner, really easy to maintain, same cut width as your jf. I had one of those jfs ended up selling it after a couple of seasons got annoyed at the belt going.

I have two kuhn700 g11 hd that have cut more acres then you can imagine solid hay mowers 1200 acres 3 times a year give or take they have to be over 12 years old I broke one pin when I hit a hole that the tractor fell in you couldn't see which was my fault other then that rough rocky steep holes everywhere and they still cut perfect never seen anything take it like that year after year best 3 pt mower on the market I my opinion i have seen other brands get stress cracks tarp arms break off shooting bearings left and right but not these mowers
