No one could guess a patient would come home early. A worry of theirs was instantly resolved. The yard had become unnavigable, particularly if someone was frail. Refinding the basic features and getting things cleared to a normal walking level was really important. Thank you for your work. That was thoughtful of you to clean up the bottom tree suckers/branches. Enjoyed your before and after pictures. A nice result.

You would think one of these women should know how to use a lawnmower and weed eater and lawn shears?? Guess not. I would just have to risk breaking a fingernail to clean up the lawn for my beloved father, grandfather or my uncle who's been weakened in the body.

The "nurses" would actually be occupational therapists making sure he could operate in his home environment safely. As a therapy assistant its part of my job to assist with that sort of thing and loan any equipment (shower chairs, walkers etc) that he may require

You can tell that this gentleman took pride in his yard. While it was overgrown, the lawn reminded me of golf course. Meaning, more grass than weeds. Not a lot of trash or debris, not a lot of piled up bits of discarded furniture, shopping carts, and so forth. I saw that with many yard work after Covid lockdowns . Not being judgmental. You did this man a great service.
