Camille Lajeras mine were pretty fast! I placed my order on thurs march 1st, and I expected weeks to go by, but I got a message on tues march 6th saying that my order had been shipped, and it was set to arrive on friday to florida, but the UPS guys actually delivered a day early, so they arrived on Thursday mid day. And I live outside of the US so I had to book another flight for them to get to where I live. But overall it was still fast, I think it depends in the availability of the color skate/wheel you ordered, my skates are strawberry with pink wheels. I hope you get your skates soon!

Öykü Kaftanoğlu the beach bunny boot is more stiff since it’s vegan and feels a little uncomfortable around the ankle part. The truck is also super stiff and you don’t really see that in skates. But other than that the skates are good for beginners and they look great. I would say the lolly is for advance skaters and the beach bunny is for beginners

I would love to see a maintenance video! I’ve had my lollys since July and I didn’t start using them frequently until recently. I’ve noticed the bearings have gotten extremely grimy looking and I’m worried i might need to clean or change them. I’ve watched a ton of videos about cleaning bearings but it seems like everyone says something different. Also I realize the boots and wheels will eventually get scuffed up from use but some advice to keep them pretty for as long as possible would be really helpful!! I definitely will invest in some radnuts and toe guards soon though!!

I recently bought the Lollys and no joke, after wearing them on 3 separate occasions, my right toe stop fell off and my skate got all scratched up in the front because of it. I screwed it back on (tight) and it fell right off again. Now I'm worried I need to spend money on better plates if this keeps happening. I don't want to crash and burn mid skate because of a toe stop. The stock nylon plates they come with are not great quality for the price I paid for the skates imo.

It's similar but there is a difference in balance. If you know how to skate then you will pick up how to roller skate quickly. It's supposed to be one of the easier forms of skating as there is less exertion required when pushing your legs forward.

Okay, Im a beginner skater and I'm tied between a few options, im kind of on a budget because my family isn't exactly the wealthiest, so originally I decided I wanted the Candi Grl ones because im not sure if my feet are going to keep growing or not, but then I thought about it and what if they dont keep growing and then I buy either the moxi Lolly or Moxi beach bunny, which would last longer, be a better fit for the styles and things I want to try, and in general cost less just to get them first instead of getting the candi grl and then the moxis. Then I thought about it and if I were to just get the moxis first which type of boot? Lolly, or Beach Bunny? I love the look of the beach bunny ones, and they'd be easier to clean and keep looking good AND they are less expensive than the lolly but is it going to be a good fit for my feet, will it shape to my feet? and most importantly is it more worth it
@TuesdaysFool4 жыл бұрын
Nevermind :( My mom freaked out about the price even though I told her it would be much more beneficial in the long run to get lolly's and she yelled at me that she won't buy me expensive skates until I prove to her that im devoted to learning but then she also complained that she doesn't want to pay a bunch of money to take me to skating rinks to borrow skates until I know how to skate so wtf am I supposed to do, I was looking at impalas for a cheaper thing but I KNOW they will not work for my feet so my only option is to suffer and watch you guys live my dream in silence at least until im an adult and am somehow wealthy enough to get them... she won't even buy me the Candi grl ones because she "doesn't want to waist time or money on stuff like lessons or good skates if you're just going to stop in a month" which im not because this is literally MY DREAM... ugh

And some gummy big wheels bc terrian here is crazy 😩 and I mainly skate outside anyways.

I want to start learning how to skate and I really want to invest in these skates. I am just unsure what size to get them in. Depending on the shoes I wear I am either a 5.5 or a 6 but when I go skating I get a 5. Would you recommend getting the 5 or should I go for the 6? Do they run small/big?

What's the maximum user's weight? I've been trying to find out for a couple of weeks now. Help! :)
@beelzebabe82516 жыл бұрын
I wore these skates when I was 250lb and there still kicking 2 years on :) best skates ever! maybe look into upgrading from the nylon plate to a steel plate though if you're worried, mine sometimes bends a bit when I jump or use my toe stops.
@INDYJAMMAJONES6 жыл бұрын
I have never heard of a max weight and my friend was 300+ lbs when she started skating! You may want to get smaller wheels becuase the big gummy wheels are a bit bouncy and hard to feel grounded when you are first learning. I thought I replied to you comment on another vid, sorry for the delayed reply!

@@beelzebabe8251 I know I'm late in that thread, but did you keep the original nylon plate or did you change it for an aluminium plate?

Can you use these skates at an indoor rink without changing the wheels?
@MissAmberRenee156 жыл бұрын
What skates did you use prior to these ? I want the yellow pineapple moxi skates but in the meantime for the wait time I’d like to have something else to skate in. These are gonna be my first pair of skates so I don’t mind the investment but I’d like any suggestions on a pair that I can use in the meantime while my order is being made.

Would you recommend this skate for outdoor? I have seen sites that say they’re more suited to dance skating..
@Al-ub8mq4 жыл бұрын
Yes! When they say that they are good for dance skating it means that they aren't really made for speed so you shouldn't use a heel skate for derby But you can most definitely cruise and do tricks in these skates Just make sure you have the right wheels and stuff

Amazing! I recently purchased skates and I wanted to ask: 1) I purchased from the direct website itself “Moxi shop” that was given on the Instagram pg. Does it matter which site I bought it from? 2) what is the best possible method from refraining the skates taking quite a beating Thank you so much for your review
@INDYJAMMAJONES6 жыл бұрын
When you buy from planetrollerskate.shop you are supporting me making these videos. Moxi Skate Team members do not get paid or make commission on any sales so I had to get creative on how to support myself and be able to keep doing this. It is still a struggle but having an online shop helps! To keep your skates nice you can get suede protector, boot covers, and toe guards. They will def get dirty if you skate a lot but they still look real cute!

Hey there, Indy. I was wondering if theese skates come in kids sizes?
@Silvermoonshadow4 жыл бұрын
I've been eyeing Moxi skates for awhile. This is really helpful. I've never owned derby skates, always seeing myself as more of an inline girl. But, as I've gotten older, I feel like balancing on a single line of wheels is getting harder on my ankles. I would definitely say I am not a big skater currently, since I really don't like going alone to do it and don't have a lot of free time, but I really want to get into it more. Suggestions?

as a figure skater we need a toooon of support. i mean, advanced figure skates (ex edea) have so much support that they feel like a brick! you can even knock on them and they sound like solid wood. you seem to be doing similar impact tricks (such as the backflip.) so my question is, why do you need less support? im really interested in roller skating during hockey season (we can never get ice time!) and i was really curious about this.

So if I were deciding to get either these or the Beach Bunny skate, how are the trucks on these guys? I know you talked in your beach bunny review about not being able to lean much in the beach bunny skates, are these guys better at that?
@MystiqueRisingSun5 жыл бұрын
That "lean" is determined by the trucks. You can set them as tight or as loose as you want them to get you the exact degree of lean you're looking for. Remember, she skated the Beach Bunnies right out of the box. A few minor adjustments and either would be fine. The "big" difference is that the Bunnies come with a metal plate while these are nylon. If you're used to the weight of an aluminum plate, the Bunnies will feel more like you're used to and vice versa. Metal is heavier so slightly more stable but not quite as agile for turning unless the trucks are set really loose The nylon, being light-weight, gives you more agility, but for some, it can make them feel little unstable while learning. Personally, I refuse to skate anything but a metal plate, (as that's what I'm used to), but if you're new to skating, it's really up to you as to if you'd prefer the metal or nylon.

So I was interested in the purple one I wear a 9 shoe in women’s so what size should I get ??
@user-nj2ku6hu2s4 жыл бұрын
you should go at least 1 size down! i’ve also heard of people going as much as 2 sizes down and the boots still being loose so it’s all up to you ❤️
@Al-ub8mq4 жыл бұрын
Honestly i recommend getting a size down itll definitely fit but you'll have room and it will be so much more comfortable than getting a skate that is your exact foot size

With the plate that comes w the Lolly, is that ok to use in a skatepark/ Go on rails? How durable is it? & if I plan to go on rails, how essential is a grind block(?)

Would nylon plates hold up for park skating or would you recommend switching to metal plates?
@INDYJAMMAJONES6 жыл бұрын
They are good for a while, once you get really good you'll start to feel them not reacting as quickly. But I wouldn't worry about it until you are dropping in and doing airs and such.
