►About the Game -
Moxina is a First person Horror game. You will need to find keys to unlock some path and find ways to escape from moxina. Try to stay alive and don’t lose your way in the forests.
Story
Moxina comes from the pronunciation of Mô-sîn-á in chinese. It is a Taiwan Folklore as it is a child-like ghost that frequently appeared in the forest. It would hypnosis the targeted person and bring him to the forest. By toying with the victims, Moxina would feed the person with turd and insect by illusion.
The story begins with the main character becoming the scapegoat of his neighbour Mr. Huang and it continues...

I love that you never clickbait. Even the word "terrible" in this game video's title was honest and true. Also the game publisher listed seemingly almost EVERYTHING used for the game. I guess everything was free to use for them. So it's even less understandable why you have to pay for this game. I would understand if it was a great one with lots of work done but..

That's one of the reasons why modern gaming is so horrible. Back then, you at least had to learn how to code, nowadays you just tetris some store assets. The horror genre was hit the hardest. Nothing but lazy walking simulators and developers complain that combat is oh so hard to implement. They also hate to pay us translators lol

@@xNachtmahRx Complex Combat mechanics are hard to implement back then developers also complained about implementing combat systems nothing changed very much since then in programming if you will mess up one line of code the rest of the code will just broke and whole line of code will not work then you have to look for an error you made and that takes some time to make this specific line of code work properly. With 3D assets it's very different case because there mus;t be some group of 3D artist and someone who will trace lighting on 3D models so Lighting in the game engine will work on these objects and characters in program like Blender.

I understand up and coming developers are trying to earn money for future projects, but it's incredibly disingenuous to try to sell an essentially unfinished game. You won't garner any following that way; just distrust. The concept was pretty solid, but the execution fell completely flat. You couldn't even pay me to play this game honestly because it's such a waste of time for a subpar experience. I can only applaud the effort and hope they learned something valuable from making this.

Better solution would be announce some sort of Patronite for the game or Developers should start their own patronite where people interested in their projects donate to them like Friday Night Funkin for example or many other games before like Undertale or TS Underswap this way they could gain some money for their future projects.

Oof, at 2:00, they used a Simplified Chinese font for Traditional Chinese words, causing one of the word to glitch out and reverted back to a system default serif font. Real quality game right here.

Yeah, very unpolished. I did really like the the lighting and backgrounds. Seeing what was on the horizon looked pretty cool. The whole premise seems a bit goofy, but underneath has the bones of an interesting story. Pity it just wasn't executed well. Mind you, it looks like this was done by one person, just don't know how long it was worked on. Thank you for finding endless ways to entertain us. As others have said, If it says "terrible indie horror game," you know the commentary will be fun. We look forward to these games, Chris. Keep 'em coming!

12:45 fun fact the pronounciation of four in japanese is either よん (yon) or し (shi) which shares a pronounciation with the kanji 死 (shi)... which means death! it's also probably tied to the title of the game being Mo-"si"-na I guess edit: i forgot the game was Taiwanese but well Chinese and Japanese share a fair bit of language, 死 is "si" in Chinese i believe

This is supposed to be good game if only they put more explanation of the cultural background and lore, smoother transition between scene. I like the unique atmosphere but I just don't get the storyline, we just keep on jumping around between scene seemingly at random.
