the imp that moxi killed wasn't his mother, the tail pattrens, horn thickness and pattren, and leg thickness doesn't match. Crimson most likely killed his wife after the slap scene, seeing as Moxi and him were along at the dinner table in the next scene. also the imp that moxi killed could have been wearing his mother shoes since the shoe surface to far from the boat. so as far as moxi know his mother just left them, unless someone let it slip that she was killed.

The reason Crim needs Chaz’s money is because a good portion of his money was wrapped up in LooLoo land which is also located in Greed, the gang burned it to the ground Crim took a huge financial hit that gave Chaz a chance to trick him. It’s actual a pretty good explanation as to how Moxxie could have grown up in Greed but never been to LooLoo land, his parents both knew the games were scams and the rides were dangerous

I didn't know Crim had money tied-in to LooLoo Land, I just assumed he was being greedy.

@@refurbishedtechpriest9076 we actually do not know if the money is tied to looloo land it is a theory, a very plausible theory at the moments that i also suspect is the case, based on what fizz said in episode 7 it sounds like the park was a huge money maker for anyone invested in it so odds are good that crimson would have invested in it especially since it would be perfect for laundering money

Fun fact: When Crimson calls Millie a "beard" at 15:33 , it's used as a slang term for someone a person dates or marries to cover for their own infidelity or to conceal one's sexual orientation. Basically he said that Moxxie only married Millie as a way to hide the fact he's bisexual (or gay, in his eyes).

When I watched this episode, I noticed that the shark demons have the same type of eyes as Striker which made me think that he's probably a imp/shark demon hybrid. Also someone theorized that Striker might be Crimson's child that he abandoned so his reputation doesn't get ruined for sleeping with a shark demon. The reason for this is because he has the same horns as Moxie and Crimson. Also Striker seems to hate Moxie despite them meeting for the first time probably cause he's aware that Moxie is Crimson's son and wants revenge for being abandoned by his father.

good theory would be cool if it turns out you are right, another possibility is that striker seems to resent being viewed as being lower class of demon for being part imp and he has a hate for the upper class of demons. probably because striker has shown he is a incredible demon in terms of skill and ability and seeing less skilled demons rise above him due to birth would piss him off. it might despise moxie because moxie is in his eyes a textbook example of what most imps are like and he hates the stereotype regarding imps (this would also explain his interest in blitzo blitzo like him is also trying to rise above what would be considered to be his station thus a kindred spirit)

In the first episode, Moxy said that he can't kill a family, except a mafia family or a shity dad, because he finds that understandable. He was talking about his own family.

Actually the imp he had him drown was a random person. His mothers shoe came up in the area with a lot of other stuff so he drowned or killed her days ago probably.

Great reaction as always. This episode was amazing. I have a theory on Moxxie's mom's death. That Imp in the boat was not her. The mom's legs and body were way slimmer and different from the imp in the boat. I think Crimson just got the same kind of shoes his ex wife used to wear and put them loosely on the imp Moxxie killed. Once the shoe came up, Moxxie (and the viewers) would think it was his mom but it was really just a trick to get Moxxie obey and fear his dad, all as a way to keep his control he so loved to keep. I hope this theory is right or else this show got a LOT more depressing

that can't be the case the shoe surfaces to far away for it to have been wore by the imp moxxie killed. and with how far into the items it is it's implied that crimson killed his wife a while ago. So as far as moxxie knows his mom just left them, unless someone let it slip that she was killed, as the shoe is too far away for moxxie to make out.

​@Elysain Empire exactly. Mom was surely killed earlier, and then when the imp with the bag on his head (and his horns cut off) was dumped into the water the mom shoe got loose from the bottom of the water and floated up.

To clarify, imps in this setting have some different traits between males and females. Males have thick black and white bands on their horns, while females have mostly black horns with thin white stripes. Even though the imp in the boat had their horns removed, we can still see that the base is white. The tail is also different from his mother's. Moxxie didn't kill his mom, but she's almost certainly dead.
