This Master Moy outside and up the ramp elevation at Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto City Hall, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In the distance is Queen Street location of Sheraton Hotel and the old Toronto City Hall on Queen and Bay Streets . In the 1970's everyone wore suits everywhere in the city.

I wonder if he hated doing it in a suit? It just seems wrong to me. Did he do any interviews? Any I could listen to?

The demonstration was planned a day before as far as I can remember. The filming with the super 8 camera was not even planned. My sister just acquired the camera so I borrowed it. I filmed the performance not thinking much about it at the time. Years later when I acquired a video camera, I projected the film onto my bedroom wall and filmed it again onto VHS. This last one was converted to a 5K format. Conversations with Master Moy was always in Chinese and none of us recorded anything at that time.

The 5K file is so large, I reconverted to a smaller mp4 file and posted this video.

In Master Moys movements it's very clear he is following the principles of movements being to only 75% stretch. Did that change in later years as it doesn't seem to be taught that way currently? Thank you for the video was it from the Bathurst St. Collection from years ago? I know there was a lot of video there at one time.

As one progesses, the movements become more internalized. Same effect with less effort!

This video is from my collection which I shot in the early 1070s. Stretching is different for each individual and should be tailored accordingly.
