I'm not usually one to comment but this video spoke to me on a lot of levels. I think this is a beautiful, and very necessary, reminder to constantly and consistently check in with yourself. Being self aware is a blessing and a curse. These negative cycles are just a reminder to be gentle to ourselves, to give our mind and bodies grace and to slow down and be still once in awhile. I hope everyone is able to remember that you truly grow through what you go through. That being said, I hope the days you are happy are the norm and not the exception. And when you are feeling down I hope you remember there are so many people on this planet that wish you nothing but the best. Sending my love to everyone that needs it.

Dear, Moya. I’m sending you hugs and strength. Breakups are one of the most painful experiences to go through and I deeply understand what you are going through. Just today I was thinking that I couldn’t believe five months have passed since I had to say goodbye to a person I cared about . It is crazy not only how fast time passes, also how the pain is almost gone. It still there, but is not as piercing as it was a couple of months ago. You’ll be fine. You’ll find love again.

I've been watching your videos for a while (since quarantine) and you are truly one of my greatest inspirations (not only for ur successes but simply for the genuine insight you bring into every video you post). you're doing wonderfully, moya! thank u for sharing :) ps. the bangs look amazing

Thank you so much for your wonderful, peaceful energy and for being open/vulnerable in front of the camera. I'm in the first year of university, in my early 20s and in a period full of self-reflection. Your video made me feel less lonely, and human. Your video also leading to other people commenting on their feelings, gave me the chance to see I'm not the only one struggling. I hope you feel better soon, sending positive energy, wishes and prayers.

Love seeing this video as I always come to your channel for confort. I dated a guy from Switzerland who was living in Bs As last year and sadly had to say goodbye to him recently when he went back to his country. We had still been talking but he stopped reaching out to me and answering my texts. He was the first person to tell me he loved me, I really felt like he was the one for me but he lives in the other side of the world, and now he doesnt seem to even want any contact with me. It has been way harder than I expected to cope with the whole situation and Ive kind of drowned myself in books to keep going. I started connecting with myself a lot more these days and Im trying to focus on my personal goals and achievements and studying a lot more for uni and it has helped a lot. But reflecting on the relationship has really helped me understand a lot of things about me. Ill definitely be following your advice. Hope you get better and enter a happier headspace

i don`t usually comment, but i`m also going through a similar situation. the break up was a month ago and the one thing i learned is time heals everything if you allow yourself to process. i`m so much better than i was a month ago, but i´m also can see my progress this past week. it`s all in the small wins. last week i stopped using my phone in the mornings, just like you said, and i already feel a little better. just wanna add this quick tip for anyone in a similar situation, after a few week try to get the algorithm on your social media back to normal. just after the break up i ended up on breakup tiktok, in the beggining it felt good relating to people and all that. but after a while your just consuming negative stuff, it really doenst help the healing process. thank you moya for the video

Thank you for sharing this & I hope things will start feeling more easy soon ❤ I did the exact same thing when I was living alone - surrounded myself with constant background noise (podcasts, tv shows etc). It ended up making me feel constantly anxious, exhausted and having no mental energy. I’m trying to embrace having more space for my mind now, rather than filling any empty space with an external stimuli. P.S. Cal Newport’s Digital Minimalism was a big help making me realise that!

Sometimes things dont work out with someone for our protection we just dont realize that in the moment. When we push to resist that we may be only dragging on the problems longer. Be strong and remember some things are better turning a page instead of thinking of them like an ending.

Needed this video so much. I just broke up with someone who I know loves me so much, but he has pretty bad anger issues and I knew if I stayed with him, eventually he would turn them on me. It's been really hard for me to stop thinking about him, because unlike with previous breakups, he hadn't actually done anything to me, and I made this decision because I don't want to wind up looking back at obvious red flags and wishing I'd left sooner. But seeing how hard it is for him on social media is painful, and seeing him be happy on social media is equally painful, because I think my ego wants him to keep pining for me, which I know is wrong...anyway, I look forward to answering those questions you posed in my journal so I can finally let myself process this. I'm usually really good at feeling my feelings, but I've definitely been suppressing my pain about this breakup and the only way for me to let go will be to acknowledge that I made a good decision and truly let us both move on. Much love Moya ❤
