Thanks for this great demo day and all the feedback from the pilots. I've been struggling to choose between the gecko and a WW sport. I'm leaving now towards the gecko

Does Moys go back to the 70s? I recall a demo in England when Moys showed us a boat tow and release. We were all stunned. Never seen s hang glider before, it hooked me and I flew a Ridgrider soon after.

Yes, Moyes is the oldest active hang glider manufacturer, and probably the second or third oldest. Bill Moyes started in the boat-kite tow days, another guy sold those a bit before him. I'm not sure about the details, but read something along those lines some time ago.

That must be Fort Funston. I flew there in the late 70's just passing through. Does the sun EVER shine there???

Indeed Fort Funston, CA! Where most days are flyable, and most days that aren't flyable the wind would still keep you up, but the fog is so thick you couldn't see where you were going. Pure cloudless days are pretty rare, but direct sunshine is pretty common in the afternoon-onward once the marine layer burns off. If it's going to that day :-)

Oh man I am sorry to beach land this beautiful Hangglider. It’s a sweat glider! Thanks for letting me test fly it today.

It's fine as long as it's a good landing

What's "sweat"? Is that like a hangliding version of "wicked"? I googled it but found nothing relevant....
