Moza Air 2 Problems & Solutions: 1. Stuck/Jammed Battery Door? - Hold the handle and squeeze the battery door with force. As you're squeezing the handle push down the release button and the door should come off easily. 2. Gimbal Shaking like crazy? - To fix the camera shake. Click the Menu button > Gimbal Set > Motor > Power > Level > Then change the weight level until it stops shaking. 3. Gimbal motors and joystick shut off or stop working? - Double check and see if you left the lock switch up. If the switch is up, the motors and joystick will power themselves off so you won't damage the circuitry. Power off the gimbal. Unlock the switch and the motors should work when you power it back on. Hope this helped someone. 😊

@@GhostsGraphics I can't compare the two as I haven't used a Z6. The footage here looks very nice though. For my use, the Pocket 4k is a dream to use. The RAW footage is just so easy to work with that it feels like cheating. I don't do run and gun work so the AF is not critical for me although it would be great to have for general use. The menu is the best I have used by far. It's a work of art and what every manufacturer should aspire to. I REALLY wish it had a flip up (not flip out) screen and I wish the screen was much brighter. I LOVE the "good take" feature. I tend to make a few mistakes when I shoot so when I get a clip that I like, I mark it as a good take. Then in Davinci Resolve all I do is filter my good take clips and I don't have to work through all the rubbish. This is a massive time saver for me.

Dan, I have recieved the gimbal yesterday and started playing with it. One thing I have noticed is that once you set all axes to 'lock' (lock mode) and try to tilt gimbal to the left more than 35-45 degrees, the motors (after similar to knocking motion coming from motor) become unresponsive and just hang there without being sturdy. I need to power it off and power it back on to get it working again. Do you have the same behavior? is it expected? Just an update to the first paragraph I wrote. Sometimes motors will shake but if I tweak the power output of the motors I can either eliminate it or reduce the occurrence of it drastically. Motors sometimes can lose the that clear horizon line but gimbal is easily reset without switching it off/on. Motors might also give up sometimes under those extreme angles and that's when powering off and on the gimbal is necessary. With that being said, it's a nice piece of equipment but it is heavy. Jeez after 3 minutes of playing with it I could feel it in my back, arms, wrists. Doesn't look like you hit gym regularly but I have to say, you must be one very strong man to work with this gimbal. It is just heavy, returning. :-)

@learningcameras5 жыл бұрын
So for these everything was using autofocus. However I used to use the GH5 a ton and I don't think the autofocus is good enough to use with that so I used to lock focus and keep the same distance to my subject through the take. Also, some camera image stabilization systems don't perform well with a gimbal so either test yours first OR turn it off. I usually turn off stabilization on my A7III when using a gimbal but the GH5 worked very well for example

thanks for the video. i have the same camera and lens and i want to know how would it work with the sony battery grip added?

I'm almost certain. This gimbal has tons of room to adjust for a grip

and it can power a sony camera via usb? like a7rii?

HI Guy, did you check Feiyu new gimbal , the AK2000, it is much cheaper than Moza air 2 and with a very unique touch screen. Can you take a view for us that? Thanks .
@learningcameras5 жыл бұрын
They have contacted me and I hope to try the gimbal soon. The AK2000 looks solid though and I have no reason to believe it won't be great

I love my Crane 2 its worked out well. However, I'm starting to use more anamorphic glass and it's too long for the Crane 2. I'm hoping that this one will fit better as it looks like it has better clearance. Could this fit a 70-200mm?
@learningcameras6 жыл бұрын
Never tried it but it does have a good amount of clearance

@@learningcameras Yes! Thank you. I was worried about that.

How does this compare to the Weebill Lab? I know that’s a bit like comparing apples to larger more robust apples, but I’m curious to hear your opinion of the Weebill Lab :-)
@learningcameras6 жыл бұрын
Granted I only played with the Weebill for a few minutes but I didn't love the form factor. It felt more front heavy for starters. Plus I usually use a gimbal a TON during a wedding day so I'm holding it for hours. I love that a traditional gimbal allows me to rest it on my belt or leg when I'm not shooting and the Weebill didn't. Again, barely tested it but wasn't digging it for me
@2010kevinsmith6 жыл бұрын
Dan Watson thank you :-) i havent played with one, but i worry my hands would be hitting buttons the whole time with it’s tiny handle (when the tripod legs are removed). You mentioned the Moza Air 2 is more than 3 pounds; in regular use, do you even really notice the extra weight compared to other gimbals?
@freejay36 жыл бұрын
That gimbal is for Weebills...lol

Are you using this Moza Air 2 for your wedding shoots or are you still using the Moza Air because of its lighter weight and less strain on your arms and back?

Air 2 for every wedding. Had 2 weddings this weekend and used the Air 2 for both. You can see it in my instagram stories

wait did i miss something? why is it better than the ronin s?.
@learningcameras4 жыл бұрын
Has a screen which allows you to access pretty much all your settings on the fly rather than having to hook up a phone to the gimbal. Also it has a much better quick release system

Just purchased Moza Air 2, it was only 350USD (grey market). Seems it will be well paired with Z6. Thanks for great review.

Any issue with the gimbal roll for no reason like what happens to many gimbals in the past?
@learningcameras6 жыл бұрын
I have seen what seems to be occasional slight drifting in the roll like other gimbals but what's better about this is I can correct this roll in real time with the knob on the side!

I am still waiting for lighter gimbal perfect for a7iii and 16-35 g master. I have ronin s, but I feel pain in the wrist after using for few minutes.
@learningcameras6 жыл бұрын
My favorite light gimbal is the a1000 but it probably won't hold that setup. Even when you find a gimbal that can hold the weight, it may not balance well unless it's a larger heavier setup. I use the 28mm F2 and a1000 gimbal when I want a lightweight setup. Your camera/lens weigh more than the gimbal so I would trade lenses

Anyone else pissed that the promised Nikon/Atomos Ninja V ProRes RAW seems like it was forgotten a year after it was pitched to sell the Filmmakers Kit?!? Been putting off a major project in anticipation of shooting consistent Compressed Log “bitage” and now I’m thinking I need to EAT the extra storage to just shoot N-log.
