It’s the only gimbal I know of that does vertical video with full size cameras. I think it’s a great gimbal just doesn’t quite fit my workflow but who ever receives this one will get a great tool! Cheers!!

Considering to buy this moza or weebil s. I love how small weebil s comparing to moza but vertical shooting and active track in moza is very tempting.

either will do a good job. The weebill S is a bit better to balance and how it stabilizes but the Moza is solid and it's tracking is very good!

I have a question about the joystick. If I go to tilt up the pan motor locks and no longer follows. Is there a setting I’m missing?

Keep any eye on the display. I’ve noticed sometimes one of the axis will go from “F” (follow) to “L” (lock)

Question jake. Would this work for a sony a6300 with a 35mm sigma? Just want to be sure of the weight of the camera with the lens. I also bought a mc-11 adapter so would all that weight be too much for the Moza Aircross ? Also this video was very helpful on this Moza. Im looking forward to buying it!!

It will work no problem. The Aircross 2 has a decent amount of weight it can carry

Hi there Jake Sloan, We are thinking of purchasing this gimbal as it seems to be one of the most cost effective gimbals out there right now. We have a Canon 77D with a 18-55mm kit lens (cannot afford other lenses yet), what are you thoughts on how the gimbal will work with the equipment we currently have? also, if we were to add either a sound mic such as a rode or wireless lapel mic system, do you think it will support the weight well? thank you

It would but if you have the budget I would look at the Weebill S or the Ronin SC. I've done a review of both of those as well and depending on what features you need one of those might work better for you. For wireless mic systems I highly recommend the Rode Wireless Go if its going on a gimbal. Cheers!

just wanted to thank you again, I am sold on the WeeBill S. One additional question, I checked the list of compatible cameras and does not list a Canon 77D. It does however list the 6D, 6D2 then jumps to the 80D. Do you think we could run into major issues? appreciate your thoughts and feedback!!

it is but there are much better gimbals on the market now I would look into some of the newer DJI or Zhiyun gimbals

I’d recommend the ronin Sc or the Zhiyun Weebill S! Either one of those is a fantastic beginner gimbal.

That’s correct. You can only use the phones screen record feature but not the camera since that is being used for tracking.

Hello. Could pls help me with my problem: recently a bought this gimbal, and using it with my Sony a6400 + 16-50mm lens ( that’s is the whole set up). And from the beginning my gimbal started shaking, and even autotune didn’t solve that problem. So I should manually change motor parameters, including motor - power up to 10/15/20, and motor - filter up to 30/10/8 And such parameter’s works well, but if I manually tilt my camera down, or trying to shoot low angles, it start’s shaking again.And I need to change motor’s parameters that work for specific purpose. Does it mean that I can’t use these motor parameter’s for whole shooting angles and situations, and every time need to change them, depend’s on the angle I want to shoot? Is there any universal solution, or maybe motor parameters that works well in all situation? The same thing happens when I want to use my Sony flip screen - gimbal start’s shaking, but as far as I understood it because of dis-balancing? And one more thing - every time I’m using inception mode ( with different motor’s parameters), and put gimbal in a «flash light position» while the gimbal rolling, I can feel kind of light pulls, or pushes that comes from the motors, for a full 360 degree roll it’s like 2 pushes. So footage comes not super smooth and you can see these pushes on the video. If I hold my gimbal vertically with camera looking up, there is no such a problem. Is that a normal reaction of my gimbal in the inception mode, or it is because my camera is very light? Thank you

Unfortunately I don't use this gimbal enough to really be able to help much other than to say that it does need the load to be really well balanced to work properly.

Which camera do you have and use? If it’s smaller dSLR or mirrorless and you do have any reason to shoot vertical video then the ronin SC is excellent. I still use mine often especially for the smart features like active track motion time lapses and motion tracking. Cheers!

THanks for the review.... Here's a general question about gimbals: are they generic? In other words, can you use any camera, provided it's under the maximum weight limit, on any gimbal? I ask because the box of my Moza Air Cross 2 has a list of supported cameras on the box. Regretfully, I have the Nikon Z50 -- and that's not on the list. I was under the impression that gimbals were like tripods: they don't know or care what kind of camera you put on top, as long as it's under the weight limit. I recognize up front that I should have asked this question before I bought it, but it honestly did not occur to me. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks once again for the review.

I'm using this gimbal with Sony A7III+ Sony 24-70mm Gmaster lens for quite sometime and agree on the plus sides that been mentioned but it CAN'T handle this particular lens. Although i get perfect pre-balance before I switch on the gimbal, with my camera and lens setup the following things are really annoying : Motors running at 100% to handle this lens so getting hot so quickly, draining more power. Losing the smoothness due the lens length,shape and weight. Jitters a lot. Almost impossible to get smooth slide moves because of this lens and keeps swinging right or left. Forget about Inception mode because the moment you go into that mode, gimbal goes to Sleep mode instantly. Anything involves Roll movement, this gimbal simply gives up. No inception mode or FPV mode with roll movement with 24-70mm lens, take my word for it. So if you do own a 24-70mm Gmaster lens, this gimbal is a no go. I wish I bought the Air 2, the small size and low weight made me buy this gimbal but it can't handle my setup and sadly the numbers they mention ( holds up 3.2 kgs ) is a joke. Maybe it performs better performance with smaller lenses but weight it not the only criteria here. 24-70 is a bulky long lens which is just 850 grams, but size and positioning on the L bracket changes all the balance equation that Aircross 2 is not ready to work with. I wish someone mentioned in any review before i bought it.

Forget about firmware updates... I just sold my MOZA Air 1, they forget everything concerning Air 1 when they start selling the MOZA Air 2 family. A very disappointing company at the end.
