I am testing the Zhiyun Smooth 4. They pretty much all do the same job by stabilizing your video. Every gimbal have a spacial feature that makes it unique like the Smooth 4 Focus knob, or the Moza Mini Mi wireless charging or the Hyperlapse mode on the Osmo.. i will be back in a couple of days with the review of the Smooth 4 so you will be able to make a decision for yourself. 😉

I am using the verison 0.2.7. and didn't have any problems with it. It worked really fine on my OnePlus 6... much more stable than the DJI app on the Osmo Mobile 2.

the genie app right now is the bootle neck no matter if Android or iOS even though it's running much better on iOS. My last check before I ordered die mini mi was the update interval on the iOS Appstore. They do upgrade almost every month. So we need to keep saying Moza what the need to improve e.g. save camera settings ... when you turn off it kicks you back into default and thats 720p ... so you want to always check your settings.

Actually, they need to improve the moza genie app for android or they can add support for filmic Pro as done by zhiyun smooth 4 gimbal. Then it will become real first choice for the mobile video enthusiasts.

The first minute and a hlaf is the proof of the great tracking of the Moza Mini Mi. There is no pano feature now on the Moza Mini Mi. maybe on some future app updates.

One of the face knobs popped off and got lost on my first use. The videos taken with the MOZA app sometimes had no audio. For this reason I stopped using the Moza app, which means you can not use the bottoms to turn the camera on, zoom. Etc.

Sorry I'm confused, but with an Osmo mobile 2 , and any wide lense on an iphone 8-XS, there is no way for me to hold the gimbal normally, without the motor showing in the image on the right side ( the only way to avoid it for me is to shotgun it. limiting the purpose of the gimbal) ... maybe I'm doing something wrong?

BUY THIS GIMBAL AT YOUR PERIL. I bought mine in the strength of reviews like this where the guy/girl uses it for a day and then rants and raves about it but in reality it is a piece of crap. It is a nightmare to use and impossible to calibrate. I lugged mine from Australia to Europe and then had to lug the piece of shite around with me for 7 weeks not working! It worked fine in Aus for all of a month then out of the blue the horizon was sloping. I tried around 50+ times to calibrate it but it failed every time yet gave me the message that it was successful. Also the app (through which all the gimmicky features are accessed) is awful too. I just returned it this week and am awaiting a refund from either the supplier or PayPal.
