In my opinion, you are the only one who has done a proper test on the R3's. I commented on many youtubers about this issue not supporting Acc and F1 23 and up. I wanted to buy this for my son but unfortunately went with another well known brand

@@fiedermanngergely4962 Fanatec Clubsport DD, I know there is a lot of hate for them but where I live, we have a sim shop that stocks them meaning I don't have to deal with them directly. My son loves it, I did also try it out and its perfect for console. If you are serious about sim racing and depending on your budget pc is the way. The customization is amazing, I have the Simagic Alha U and love it

You nailed it in the intro and conclusion. No ACC compatibility and no RPM indicator for Xbox means this is pretty much pointless for any beginner sim racers. Cannot see why I’d buy this over a Fanatec. Sure it’s more expensive but you get to play ACC on Xbox. This release makes no sense.

also you can get the r3 (4nm) for just over $400 in the US while the fanatec costs upwards of $550 for the stock bundle with no upgrades after taxes and shipping while with the r3 you can have a better brake with the performance kit and 3 different wheel rim options for around the same price of $550. at the end of the day fanatec is $150 more with internal quality control issue like a bad quick release and internal bankruptcy issues in the company and after all that you are only get 1 more nm. if you have the funds the fanatec is probably the better route just for future upgradabilty but the r3 is a great option for beginners or people who are looking to upgrade from say a g923

Finally some honest review. Most of the creators received money for the "review" and they all say exactly the same thing - that it is the best equipment without any defects and even cleans, cooks and picks up children from school. Unfortunately, many people fall for this. Good job 👍🏻

I bought it as an upgrade from Logitech. It is smoother than a Logitech 920 but has less Force Feedback. I know the rating is 3.9nm compared to 2.5nm but on 10 it still feels way less. The wheel itself is small and has a plastic feel. The pedals are way better. Just so you know if you are considering upgrading from Logitech.

I think that moza will absolutely be prioritising bringing ACC support to the wheel since it is such a big title aswell as the RPM lights since they are a main point of the wheel. I can’t see any reasons why they wouldn’t and solely believe that this field of tech for moza (DD Xbox compatibility) will take some time to develop.

The brake pedal upgrade surely gives it load cell capabilities as far as I have read. Am I wrong? If not wouldn't this be amazing since the pedals can be progressively upgraded as well as the wheel base (R-5 or R12)? I believe this can be a fantastic base to start from and move up. I have also checked their website and the wheel rims that can be adapted to it are amazing. I do think this is not only for beginners because once considering the available upgrades, starting on a budget, it seems like it is very likely possible to move up and progressively improve the whole thing.. What is your take on this? I would love to hear your opinion, especially concerning this being an even better option once they solve the ACC and oncoming games compatibility on X-Box Series X/S. Once and if they add ACC compatibility I think I'm going straight for the R-3 Bundle.

I tried the Moza R9 a month or so on a loan this winter - excellent - however only tried it in AMS2 and rF2. So it's not ONE BIG PROBLEM to me - to me it's a HUGE issue, if the Moza driver support do not support as many sims - modern, old, and ancient ones - as possible. I've been routing for Thrustmaster Guillemotte - Logitech - and then yet Thrustmaster again mainly due to the widely PnP diversupport for my +50 different sims collected through the years. I'm still racing Grand Prix 2 - now in full sim rig. But I'm also racing LMU. Or full 11 laps historic Targa Florio events in AC. And will still switch back an forth between even more sims back from C64 in 1984 up to whatever present time until i leave this earth track.

I had an older style ES wheel frame laying around so I upgraded the molded version to the more robust faux leather stitched wheel frame. It makes a load of difference especially when playing on the Xbox on my R12. I haven't noticed any difference with the FFB even though the older style is heavier. I'm hoping that if Moza release the ESX wheel as a stand alone model they'll incorporate the older style wheel frame as an upgrade.

Thank you for testing the xbox rim from R3 Bundle on the R12 with SRP Load cell Pedals - been waiting for somebody to report on this combo! Do the SRP Load cell pedals plug into the R12 base for this combo to work on xbox? What about the CRP pedals?

Yes srp pedals plug into the back of the new version of the r5 and r12. But not the r9 or r9 v2! One of the reasons I went for the r12 and not the r9 when my r5 broke

Awesome review. You're the only one who mentioned it clearly about the R3 is not compatible with Xbox ACC and F1 games. Actually G920 was the same in 3 years ago. Below the link was the workaround solution. Will it work for R3.

Hey Overtake, I know this isn’t a how to fix video but I recently bought a Moza R3 for my Xbox and for the first 2 days it was great. But today I went to boot it up and it worked fine up until I went to race. Then it would switch to pc mode automatically but switch back when I paused the game or exited the app. Any advice ???

Button mapping and LED rev lights have always been an issue on Xbox. I have a Fanatec Formula 2.5x wheel and the Universal hub (both the V1 and V2) The funky switch was usable in ACC but is no longer. None of encoders work on the V2.5x wheel on xbox at all. Fanatec realty should state limited functionality on Xbox as it is very disappointing.

ACC works fine on the xbox. You just have to load up the game by pressing the R3 wheel rather than the controller. Runs really well on this game. Next to no clipping so far in my experience

Im on PC and currently debating on this one vs TS-XW. Moza is DD but TM is twice as strong.. They are the same price currently in my country. R5 is out of my comfort zone (having also a sim-flying addiction that I need to balance spendings 😂 ). Can I have your opinion on that?

I'm upgrading from a Thrustmaster T150, and after looking at this (and the R5), the Cammus, and the Fanatek CSL I ended up going the the CSL (Yes despite the current corporate woes). The simple reason is upgradability. The CSL bundle is now the same price as the R3 bundle, you can upgrade to 8 nm, you can upgrade the pedals to load cell, and they have a HUGH catalog of wheels. The Cammus isn't upgradable at all, and Moza's pedals and base aren't upgradable and while they have a decent catalog of wheels, it's nowhere close to what Fanatek offers. I'm a pretty casual driver, but it's nice to have options if I do ever get more serious.

I am a suoer casual but want to have some fun with the family and such. My budget is around 500$. If this isnt the set to get, which set should i look into with DD?

To be honest out of your 3k budget you should have bought a $1000-1500 pc and the rest on sim gear. 3k on fanatec gear is a rip off alone let alone to just play on ps5.

Hello can you or anyone else reading this make a suggestion for me, just got my moza r3 bundle and im a have an issue that can't seem to be resolved , first off im using on xbox series x and all the games i tried are working perfectly like multiple forza titles and f1 with no complaints,, ACCEPT the main reason i bought this setup was for assetto corsa, I CAN'T GET THE REGULAR ASSETTO CORSA to work , not talking about ACC that i don't have, but the original AC will not recognize the wheel or pedals or any buttons, nothing works as soon as i run assetto corsa....can anyone make a suggestion here ? im really liking this moza r3 set, but AC is the only title i use ,, any help please, i really don't want to return this set beside this problem i think its a great little setup

Possibly because of the Stock issues, June 24, they have no QR1 or QR2 (type C) quick releases, so they cant supply anything.

Ouch no acc? Thats horrible. Also listen take it from me 3.9nm on a free flowing smoother dd wheel will never feel as pwoerful as a 3.9 or 4.5nm belt driven wheel. Just like 5nm wont be either. Ita always been this way. Direct drive wheels have always benefited with more torque. Just how it works wirh magnets and servo motors. While belt wheels the motor is yabking snd pulling so it feels stronger witbout needing the same NM. So anubody in this market idc if belt isnt as smooth I reccomend a belt wheel still. Probably always will but when you get above 5nm then dd wheel all day for sure! There is a reason why almoat every belt user comes over to even 5nm dd wheelbases and go i expected it to be stronger lol.
