Just a correction: V.Mondlane did not flee to avoid getting rested (legally speaking, he should not be criminally charged because, as a presidential candidate, he is immune). Instead, he is protecting himself, and the Mozambican people instructed him to do so. VMondlane has a bounty on his head, and many positions have been killed; the people may not afford to lose him.
