Lovely performance, thank you!!! Also, lovely to see those beautiful painted pipes, an art unto itself used by so many organ builders around the turn of the 20th century!!! 😃❤️👏🏻

Such a lovely, quiet piece, played with great sensitivity and reverence! I was intrigued by all the carvings around the church! There are so many wonderful exquisite little carvings all over, and I was delighted at seeing the carving of the organist at the organ early in the video! What a delightful tour during a delightful piece - I wish both had lasted a while longer! Thanks to Jonathan and Tom for such a lovely performance!🎵🎹🎵📷💗🌞

This is the most beautiful sound. I prefer this organ instead of a much larger, more sophisticated organ. Thank you Jonathan.

It is awesome and almost impossible for me to see your hands on the varied rows of keys, your feet on the peddles below you and the varied stops, not to mention sheet music in front of you as I think to myself “I cannot walk and chew gum at the same time and musicians like yourself are doing all of this at once”. Pardon my seeming ignorance of how these skills are possible, and please know that I believe you are, among your peers, a miracle to behold.

This organ looks quite similar to the one in the parish church of the village where I grew up... 2 manuals, all mechanical stops with no pistons... the clackety-clack of all the stops coming out when Fred the organist was going for the final verse of a hymn, or the big crescendo of whatever he was playing, is indelibly stuck in my mind. As always - a beautiful piece, beautifully played (and filmed), thank you Scott Bros!

Mozart, along with Schubert and Franck, once played frquently in Catholic churches. "Laudaute Deum en Chordis et Organo " . From Chicago, U.S.A.

Well at long last we are headed in the right direction--Mozart is still a little modern for my taste but maybe this is a hint of things to come. I read that between 1550 and 1750 there were upwards of 10,000 works composed for organ--maybe we will hear one or perhaps two soon. Thanks gentlemen.

It’s rather nice to hear it on a quintessentially Victorian organ in a 14th century church so typical of rural England. It’s great that a talented organist as great as Jonathan is happy to go to such places.
