Hi sterlingtaste! This is from the Abeldardo Hall of U.P. Diliman. Thanks for dropping by. :)

For most piano concertos (at least by famous composers), people (usually not the composer) transcribe the orchestra part for another piano so that the main pianist can practice it. Such versions are not usually meant for public performance. If you like this version, listen to the proper orchestral ones on youtube.

Simply beautiful !! parang bagay na bagay sa "temperament mo" ... deliberate and controlled .. no surprises (kaya siguro medyo binagalan mo ng kaunti yuong Shostakovich). Prof. Nita Quinto is just brilliant !! (siempre like my teacher, Prof. M.B.)

It sounds a little bit too "mecanichal" (i don't find the good word haha) sometimes. But well, it is not very easy when you are two for the same piano, I agree. ;) Anyway this is a very cool piano version of the magnificient concerto of mozart ! Congratulations !

is this 4-handed played only? or is it also composed for 2 hands? like it really

Hallo dannesahne! Bist Du Deutscher? I have never seen a version for 2 hands. I believe it's possible to make one but that will take a lot of time. Gruss
