MOZART THEME FOR "ELVIRA" - Roger Williams

Roger's 1985 performance of his beautiful rendition of "Elvira Madigan" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 200 years after this concerti was completed in 1785. On Roger 's album, "From Amadeus With Love" • To Amadeus With Love , from the Piano Concerto No. 21 in C Major, K 467. This is the best known of Mozart's many piano concerti due to the Swedish film Elvira Madigan (1967), in which its lyrical second movement was featured, and from which it derives its byname. Mozart wrote the first of his many piano concerti at age 11.

I don’t remember the year this was released - can someone let me know - I remember playing it on a LP at friends home in 1975 - that all I can remember - but it left an impact on me that day. And I will never forget the memories it left me. This kind of Music is for the Heart - Beautifuly done by one of the “Masters “ on the Piano - Roger Williams. Roger Williams - Floyd Cramer - Richard Claydeman - are masters on the piano - a beautiful song done by one of the master - Roger Williams - All you have to do is Enjoy this master piece - so Enjoy

Same arrangement from his album “Only For Lovers”.....I remember when this album came to the record stores; multiple copies in Roger’s section. Such a great record, and a lovely lp cover. Who is the model?

She was a random lovely model as were most on his LPs, with the exception of ‘Happy Heart’ and ‘Christmas Time’ with his children. His wife is on the music box on ‘Somewhere in Time’

I wish it had been miked better, the beautiful notes Roger was playing on the left half of the piano were barely audible.
